Carrying Characters

I've been using the open beta to try out some of the other races in the game(different than the one I played in the MY-EN version). I've been playing the venomancer the most recently, and a couple times I have had random players ask to carry me. What I'm wondering is, is there any advantage to carrying another player, or were they just being weird?

    Both characters regenerate their vigor/chi. But I doubt anybody would care about that at this level.

    So yes, they were being weird. Or if they could fly, they wanted to drop you over something 3 times your level.
