I have problem logining every time I login it says your username and password is incorrect and if u say to change my password I already changed it.?:(

    Have you applied a closed beta key to your account?

    I got my friend to create an accoutn she got it beta active & accoutn activated. but was unable to log into the game. I this morning created an account to see if she didnt soemthing wroung. and i too have gained this error. But my Actual account is still able to access the Game. anyone have an idea.

    Same problem here. Beta Key attached to my account. only worlds I can choose from are PVP (YUCK!) and when i try to login gives me an error saying that they ID/Password is wrong.

    same here still no solution found? My friend was able to get on after getting the beta key in but I have my beta key in but still cant play.:mad:

    We realize that some of you are having problems logging in. We are looking into the issue.

    Those of you who are having trouble logging in. How did you access our website?

    Did you click on an ad?
    Did a friend link you directly?

    Heard that there were beta keys on mmosite, got a beta key, got to your site thru there.
    Created the account, applied the beta key (had to figrue it out since there were no directions)
    Downloaded and installed the game.
    Tried to login to the game and told i was using the wrong id/password.
    logged in here using the same id/pass and it worked.

    Hi, I can log in via the website but not ingame. My notices in the login screen come up with "PAGE NOT FOUND" and i get and error that my username or password is incorrect

    Same here: I can log into the web site, I can run the game, but the game's login fails with the incorrect username/password error.

    However, I don't remember getting a beta key. At no point has this process seemed clear, so maybe this is the time to ask. Do I have to patiently wait to be granted a beta key, which only some people receive? And if I don't get one, I can't log into the game? If that's the case, maybe someone can tell me.

    Again, I have installed the game and I have an account (two accounts, actually, trying the suggestion above). I installed the game and registered my first account on August 23rd.

    Ok, is this only effecting accounts created in the last ~48 hours? Are new accounts still having this problem? I have some friends who want to sign up, but I told them to wait until this issue was cleared up - I'd love to give them an all clear.

    I have same problem when I type in my account id & password they tell me wrong account id or password.My friend is also having the same problem when she tries to log on.Hope the guys at perfect get this problem fixed soon.

    I also got that page not found in my Notices on log in screen.Just like lucrano1.What is up with that.

    The notice doesn't seem to have an affect on us not being able to log in.

    My friend and I both signed up just recently, within hours of one another, I cannot log into my ccount, she can log into her's. What's even more annoying, is that even though I get that notice you've mentioned, I -can- log into her account.

    So, this means it's not some setting on OUR end. It's indeed something with the servers, and the time frame seems off now too, because we both created our accounts, both got the key from MMOAbc, in fact I told her where to go, how to get it, etc.

    No emails received between the two of us were any different.

    I even went back to MMOABC to try re-entering my Beta Key and I received:

    You have already activated a beta key for Perfect World International!
    Once closed beta begins, you will receive an email with instructions for how to participate. Please be patient!


    Neither she nor I have received an email with instructions on how to participate, yet she can log in, I can log in as her, but I cannot log into my account..

    Man for sum reason my login id/pass isn't workin im basically havin the sam problem as every1 else dam can sum 1 help us plz???:confused::confused::mad:;)

    SOME fixes have occurred with users trying to use their original password they had when they FIRST signed up for the PW forums. Hopefully you remember it or have it written down.

    Try to log in with that one. Stay in the game some, then log back out.

    Then go to the forums here and change your password.

    Then boot the game back up and see if it'll take your new password, or the original password you used when you first signed up.

    That might help some of you.:D
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    I tried and now it worked. Didn't do anything different than before.
    Does anyone know if the databases with the Old and New PW's are interlinked somehow? My usual character name Vitae was already taken, and I doubt that....

    Hi im very new to perfect world. i just joined last night, activated my account, installed the game. but everytime i tried to run the game and login it always gives me "incorrect account name or password"

    I have tried to reset my password many times. but it never work.

    Now i can only log in to the forums, but not in the game. am I doing anything wrong? Please Help.

    Is your account name less than 20 characters long? Also where are you trying to play from?

    yeah. my account name is exactly 13 characters long. im trying to log in in "Lost City (PVP)" server because thats the only server that it can connect. Im from Singapore.

    Since I have seen this problem a lot lately, are you sure you have a beta key registered with your account on PWI's site. If not here is what you need to do.

    1. Go here: http://www.mmoabc.com/Perfect-World-Giveaway.html
    2. After you sign up on their site go back to that page and get your key.
    3. After you have your key, open a new window in FF or IE and go to PWI's main page.
    http://www.perfectworld.com
    4. Sign in and click on "Account info"
    5. Scroll down an plug in the beta key you got and click "Activate"

    Let me know if that helps!
