server times

i have serched for this and i have not found anything
so here it goes

the server times/time zones GMT, i know that the events will be different for the east and west but what are the time zones of the events any help thx

i hope this makes sence just woke up still tired lol

    In open beta there will not be anymore East and West servers.

    Only one PvE and one PvP server.

    ok thx for that bit of info but what are the time zones of the events in GMT, on the servers anyway, my friend lives in EST and he was in game for the arena event that was spose to be before and after the terr war on saterday he must have stayed up tp 12:00pm and didnt find any event but the GMs might not be runing the events in CB any

    I would loove to know that as well.

    And actually they did keep the east west thing. the PVE server is east i think and the PVP one is west, or did I look wrong?

    Looking at the server selection, in the log in process, both starting servers listed are pvp. Lost City - East and the other - West.
    Is this post appropriate?

    nope, you are wrong, dont give false information. They said that only 2 servers will be working at the beginning of the OB, but later on, they will open the rest (maybe if the numbers of players requires them). So if you still want to play on west server, you have to wait until they open it.

    Have fun waiting. Some of us will be level 100 by then I think. :)

    I will try to wait for the West servers to open, but I'm not sure how long I will wait. Maybe all of ten seconds. ^_~

    Since when did anyone say that, stop making stuff up;)

    East Servers will be released first, West Servers will be released a couple days or weeks after, depending how many players will play PWI in the start of Open Beta:p

    Plese highlight were the staff member talked about east and west servers in this :
    The current Closed Beta playtesting period will come to an end on Tuesday, September 2 at 10 a.m. PDT (1 p.m.for you East Coasters).

    Gameplay will resume 4 hours later that very same day at 2 p.m. with the launch of Perfect World International's OPEN Beta.

    This initial launch will open with 1 PVP server (Lost City) and 1 PVE server (Heaven's Tear).

    Do keep in mind that all of your current progress and characters will be wiped at the end of the Closed beta period so enjoy this experience while you can. But fear not, with the launch of the Open beta all characters, stats and data are permanent components of your account for as long as you choose to play our game.

    if East PVP (open-pvp) will start sooner then West PVP (open-pvp), which sever will be closer to europe timezones? coz i suppose that LostCity will get all pvpers in there.. euro and us

    I guess that there will not be a second PvP server until player population allows it.

    Quite likely, they prefer to have 2 well populated servers rather than 4 sparsely populated ones.

    Seems like no admin said something exactly about the server GMT. I'm looking forward for an answer too, its critical for me to know.

    I would also like an admin to confirm what time zone the two servers will be on and whether TW will still be at the default 8pm/2pm/9am during the weekend.
