If you create try and create another character of the same class and gender as your original character, you can see if your character was stored in the default file.
Then, you can create a new character that's a twin of your previous character and will be within the 2 day limit. You can be free to archive and backup your character files for open beta.
Alternately, there is a "Makeover Scroll" which normally is from the Item Shop, but there be a level 28 quest in the city of Archosaur that gives a Makeover scroll as a reward. I can't really exactly, but it's a quest that has you run back and forth and gather flowers/plants between a the makeover lady and her husband, a merchant.0 -
i found the characters in the character file
the files are character 00, 01 10, 11, 31 and so on
how would i know which character contains the character i want to save?
why dont the GMs just give us a grace period before close beta ends to save all our characters
oh well0 -

The easiest would be to just archive the entire character directory with 7-zip or winrar, etc. ^_^
Also, there's only going to be a patch. It's been implied that our character customization inis won't be touched. Archiving would be for the worst case scenario.
