Proof why member moderators do not work.

esuX was given a fake infraction pm for a joke saying Roxy has a ****, in other words, is a man (we all know females don't use teh intarwebs).
And his post was edited. http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=369011&postcount=37

Now, this normally would be fine and all, BUT.
There are double standards going around this forum and it's bulls***.
t0yo, and quite a countless few other people use much worse language and constantly make sexual references, and nothing happens.
Roxy stretches her power because she was personally offended by esuX's obvious joke somehow. Perhaps he really is a man...

Looking at Roxy's posts in general makes me wonder why she was mod in the first place, and this bias warrants her position being removed. At least Ryuuzaki is useful, yet I haven't seen Roxy doing anything much warranting her job.

    Typical RageQuit behavior.

    One RQ member purposefully post an inapppropriate message to have a mod to react, then another one jump on the occasion when the mod do apply the rules.

    it's bad to set traps to mods. Yours failed I'm afraid. I saw that one coming as soon as esux posted it.

    Can't wait for Aion to come out. ^_^

    So let me get it straight, your argument is this:

    The new mods fail because they don't allow members to slander/harass/make fun of/insult them?

    Hmm yea I can TOTALLY see how orinij/xarfox would laugh it off and pat you on the head if you tried that with them - these new mods are horrible (if you're really dimwitted, that was sarcasm)

    Please just stop making yourselves look bad by complaining about something thats perfectly fine and making yourselves appear jealous.

    Typical anti-RQ bulls***. It was a JOKE, not slander.

    Roxy's infraction said it was for "inappropriate language" yet there is far worse all ove the forum which isn't a "joke" or is far more sexual and nobody cares because it's not directed at a newbie mod.

    Edit: and nowhere did I say that moderating such posts is wrong, but doing it out of spite is. If Roxy had cleaned up the whole forum like a real mod, instead of just what bothers her, we'd have no problem here.

    It has been 2 days since I became a moderator, and I haven't stumbled into other inappropriate languages, yet. ( By the way, that infraction wasn't fake. )

    This is like stealing candy from a child getting shouted at by the childs parents and then crying because you got shouted at

    Am I on the right lines because you really do look and sound like a crying child right now. If someone is offended by something there more than likely going to act upon it.

    It's very easy to compare internet life with rl....all our personalities, habits, morals are instilled in ourself in "internet life" as well. Whether or not you act the same way is a different problem. If someone "kills your friend" in a game, you'd probably kill them back. If someone killed your friend in rl, you'd probably have a gun ready. (little exaggeration) Just saying...

    Sorry I' have to compare the internet to real life, doing A level English Language has reprogrammed my brain to do such things. Also you're reply doesn't qualify for any of the Grices Maxims therefore, in the words of the internet speakers, GTFO.

    Why dont you find me ONE example in the forums where somone said something that required a mod to "clean it up" in the last 2 days since Roxy has been a mod?

    Like I said before, if xarfox/orinji was female and you wrote that "as a joke" to them, would they be cool with it?

    All that you're trying to do is discredit somone for no reason other than to be meanspirited.

    5. No inappropriate language.
    Inappropriate language includes, but is not limited to, the following language types:

    - Offensive
    - Unlawful
    - Harmful
    - Threatening
    - Abusive
    - Harassing
    - Defamatory
    - Vulgar
    - Obscene
    - Hateful
    - Discriminatory (age, gender, ethnicity, etc.)
    - Objectionable Language

    I understand that people have posted far worse, but you just can't get them all you know and as roxy says shes only been a moderator for 2 days.

    I don't agree with member mods either, simply because there is that gray area where people cannot say what is truly bias and what isn't.

    As for roxy being a moderator, I personally haven't seen her do anything useful for this community other than make stickied [Official] Irrelevant to PW-I threads.

    If what was edited out was true then honestly roxy, you need to have thicker skin. If you can't handle something as minor as that without having to edit out what personally offends you, then what are you going to do when someone has a serious complaint about you?

    When the member mod topic was brought up initially, majority of the community at the time all agreed it wasn't a good idea. But the admins did not listen and now look what's happened.

    Yes, look at what happened. Now we have poor, poor, people on the internet who have had there feelings hurt. Oh the humanity! Those poor jealous people who go out of there way to point out a single, tiny, insignificant fact all in hopes that they will get someone un-modded so they won't have to be so jealous anymore.

    Let us shed a tear for a couple of people whose IQ isn't very high. [/sarcasm]

    sorry I'll behave now. At the end of the day you're still not following the Grices Maxims, which is a bigger flaw in a Language/conversation based context than a typo.

    What does a "usefull" mod do? and Did you miss the part where shes only been here for 2 days? What was there in that 2 days that she failed to do?

    Thick skin my ****, you dont EVER say ANYTHING even remotely "grey" directly at a mod/admin/staff memeber it's just common sense. So somone decided to test the water, got the obvious response and now everyone is crying over it. If you REALLY have a problem with roxy why dont you email the customer support or send xarfox/orinji a PM with a nice motivation and everything? why are we having this public discussion where everyone is openly lying and trying to degrade somones image with no actual proof.

    no he's saying that she is being unbiased. Basically giving an example of this would be, I've used words esux has and never got my posts edited. Esux used the same words directed towards roxy and she edited it.

    He's saying that had esux not used the words against roxy but anyone else the post would not have been edited.

    He has a point to some extent but using me in the example was a misjudgment

    I am totaly ageist Roxy,
    she seems just be some tean, haveing fun and ower useing her power, who got idea to make her mod really( i have feeling admins will jump on me)?
    How ever Ryuuzaki do a great work.

    ps: people who think many of here are jalous its wrong, cause ryuuzaki do a really great work, but Roxy really she ower use her power sticking her useless thread in wrong place more ever, they can make as many mods as they want but pls responsable and serious people!!

    If you want to insult the IQ of others, perhaps you ought to precede your posts with something that might have contained a little more thought. Ren doesn't want member mods, thus he doesn't want to be a member mod. How could he possibly be jealous?

    Roughly 95% of the males I meet on the internet like to talk about how there are no girls on the internet. It's a running joke, and will be for a long time to come. Roxy would have been better to laugh it off with a witty comment, rather than to get so offended that she had to remove it. That makes the difference between a bad mod and a good mod.

    So... Editing a post, sticking a couple of threads, make you a bad mod? So, moderation in general makes you a bad mod? Your logic... isn't very good.
