Hey!

I have this request, All of the NPC names are really confusing, I mean I read a GM a while ago that he said 'we wanna keep the essence of the game, so the NPC will stay the same' something like that.

But hey! this is INT version, we need more easier american/european names, like
Terry,Mike or something like that.

I find it rather hard to learn Chung Ling, or weird NPC like that, because when it's time to do quests i'm really lost.

This is just a suggestion i'm making to GM's,
To the community... please comment about this, because maybe it's just me the one that doesnt like these names. Thanks

Btw: to Asian people, i'm sorry if this offends you but you gotta understand i'm used to names like I said above, Terry & Mike hehe.

Thank you, please comment, again sorry if this request offends you.

I think the names are fine the way they are, it fits the setting of the game. Though there are far too many NPCs with the same name.

Ok, well I really dont see if they repeat, i'm not a fan of those names thats it.
Please more comment about this, just to know if this is a 'minor' issue that is bothering me, or the hole community.

As far as I'm concerned I thnk that the names should stay. While I agree that some may find the names to be confusing I feel that changing them to appease American or European players would make the game feel inconsistent. Take for example foreign films or even CRPGs. For the most part names are kept in line with the countries of origin and are seldom changed, this game is no different. I mean the game is set in a world inspired and heavily steeped in Chinese mythology. Of coulrse variety in the names wouldn't hurt. i just don't want to run into 3 NPCs that have the same name, that's jsut as bad as changing the name...that and very lazy on the developers part.

Yeah I think you have a really good point, this game is based on chinese mythology.
So I guess case closed, leave it as it is.
