Most useless closed beta ever ?

Hi im lvl 34 Venomancer on Lost City Shion
Now about the Sense of making a 2 week closed beta with Char wipe in the end.

.....Pm Me if u find one i have absolutely no clue for what i created a char in Closed Beta.

I mean what i checked till now Servers are stable 150 ms and its twice more smooth as the .my Servers. 2 Lags after end of the Town Attacks in Willowspring & Southern ***** dont remember.
Some Item names are doubled for example Elemental Dust. It is a stupid Bounty Item and also a lvl 21 DQ Item.

And thats all already i wont get even any Job to lvl 5 i wont beat.it to do a single HH run. The Game could be totaly buggy and u wont get it because ppl just dont have the time to check and report it.

There were so many freakin Beta Keys that anyone who wanted to play PW-International can already be found on one of the two Servers.

The lesson is clear if the CLB really get wiped possible Exploits;Bugs;Translation mistakes that could be found by the Community will just get delayed by 2 weeks and thats already all.

U really would make more then 90% of the Community Happy if u wont Wipe the CLB but nvm in the end its ur Discission.

It would be really nice if someone at best by an Admin can tell if the Open Beta get wiped also ? If thats happening i stop playing pw and wait till full release because to play till lvl 50 for nothin not for my own or for the evolve of PW International is stupid :rolleyes:

    It's only a week long closed beta, and the intention was to make sure there were no major bugs or server issues, and if there were... to bring them to light so that they could be remedied before open beta starts.

    They always said they were going to wipe at the end of the closed beta stage. And the admins have confirmed that any characters created for open beta will NOT be deleted. :)

    or you could read the forum already where it already states

    IN OB THERE WILL BE NO WIPES
    0 WIPES IN OB
    MAKE A CHAR IN OB AND IT WILL NEVER BE WIPED (unless you delete it yourself)

    i suggest you use search function.:D

    They didnt need to do a cb anyways, the game is quite old.
    Basically it was to test translations and stability of the servers/net; not the software..

    like i care really - as i cant even log in to the game. (patcher/update issue)
    in my 14 years of gamer expirience i never ever had imagine that any instalisation would take me a whole 3 days without a single succes. doh even daggerfall wasnt that bad. and in few days THIS is going open beta.....????? thats a joke right? (sorry for sarcasm, couldnt help myself)

    Well it doesn't mean there's something wrong with the game. I didn't have a single problem with closed beta since it started. Maybe something's wrong with your PC

    oh then this 46 pages long topic in technical support section with all this crawdes of ppl with the exact same problem that i have are all my imagination.

    no there is something wrong with beta patcher, there are quite a lot of people not able to play because we can't the patcher to work 'properly'.

    I have no idea what the problem is and havnt found a solution to my problem, but heopfully they will have patcher fully functional for the OB if not i may just may have to go back to Wow to cure me of my lack of MMO/RPG's as the ones i have atm...suck really :(

    That Thread brings back lots of memories.......I hope that problem will be solved by the Admin when OB come out and not by a Community-made-patch. To those of you who were lucky enough to patch with out a problem be thankful about it! I spent a good part of CB on that Technical Support thread and other one similar to it. A Manual Patch is what I wish for OB just to avoid these kind of problem.

    why post this they have been saying all along there would be a wipe yet you still made a character if you didnt want to go through this hassle you should of waited for open beta no disrespect intended towards you maybe you just got your key and logged in without reading the facts

    You seem to be worried more about your levels than anything else. This is a "Beta". Levels should not matter as much as "testing" the game to make it smoothe.

    If you are here to "level" and thats all, then maybe you should not be here.

    It IS a Beta after all and you should expect to have wipes, specially after closed testing.
    Please dont QQ about wipes after getting to such a high level early on. Everyone knew and it is in the FAQ's that there will be a wipe after CB.
    Q : Will our chars be deleted at the end of closed beta?
    A : Yes, we are currently planning to wipe all characters at the end of our beta phase. (Xarfox)

    If you are here in regards to losing your levels then what have you been testing really? Was it the speed at which you can level and finally finding out there will be a wipe without reading up on it?
    Now knowing that you dont want to play no more? Maybe you should give opinions on other aspects, report bugs ect, report glitches ect ect instead of worrying about how fast you can level.

    Maybe stop playing and start "testing" ?
