Minimizing Issues?

Ok, I'm prolly the only person playing the game who is having this issue and I'm sure it's something really obvious.
Whenever I minimize the game and maximize again, I can't click the mouse or it will go back to desktop and vice versa.
It does it EVERY time and I have to End Task to fix it and restart the game.

I got the same problem as well. Makes it hard when you want to talk to someone on another messenger program or check something in a web browser.0

If you guys are running in full screen mode, then go to Windowed mode.
That might help.
If you have different chat programs running and are switching between Windows a lot, you might have problems where the game and/or any applications lose focus. That is more of specific user's computer issue. Could be RAM, video card, or a number of other issues.
This can happen with any game, on any PC. Depends on user's PC configs.Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

Yeah, I'm not playing yet, I'm still dl'ing, but on MMORPG's that you use MSN or other Chat Window programs, you can always refer to, DXWind.' It's a program that can window EVERYTHING so you can easily switch between tasks, I've been using it for years, never let me down...
If your a Vista user you have to right click the shortcut, click properties, run as, Windows XP, and then set it to run as Admin.
Running programs as an Admin can solve near all compatibility issues.
~Thanks!!

I also have this problem. You usually take a performance hit by running windowed, so many people prefer to run full screen.
Can someone confirm that they run full screen but have no problem minimizing and returning to the game? Maybe we can find something common to the people that have the problem.
I have:
Windows XP Pro
Athlon X2 5200 dual core
Nvidia 590 mobo
8800gts video
Logitech USB keyboard and mouse.0 -
how do you run the program windowed?
Windows XP Service Pack 2
Intel Core 2 Duo
1gb RAM
Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Family (214mb)0 -
haha, jk, found it.
For everyone else who doesn't want to feel as stupid as me here it is.
Before you click "Start" go to "Settings" and change to "windowed."
Wow I feel dumb...0
