ok so i realize that land based pets do not go into water, but do they have to avoid teh bridge too? my pet wont cross a bridge no matter what and i dont really see why they cant since technically it shouldnt fall into water without me jumping into it.

Just leave it on follow and run across the bridge. Don't stay on the bridge too long or your pet will auto disappear. As soon as you reach a certain range away from your pet, if it's on follow it'll teleport right next to you.

lol this doesnt fix the problem though. the pet shouldnt have to "teleport" to the other side. it should simply just follow on the bridge so long as you dont jump to an area where it cant follow ie the water. this is also an issue with the south exit of lost where if youre still within the gates, it will run back and forth and possibly depsawn if youre within the immediate viscinity of the gate.

All the big cities have invisble walls that stop monsters (and unfortunately your pets) from getting through. I think it's meant to protect them from getting aoe bosses like gules lured inside. It'd be nice to update this to allow pets through though.

In MY-EN, a quite annoying thing people sometimes do at high level is to pull the level 50 or something Elite boss monster into Fishing Village (Not sure of PWI name), and kill players in the supposed safety of the village when they don't want to be PKed, because the boss has an AOE attack. It's really annoying and from my experience, they need to have that invisible barrier on other cities besides Race Capitals.

But I agree, the barrier needs to be tweaked.

the easiest and most efficient way to fix that is to restrict damage, aoe or otherwise, to those who damaged the mob or who helped the ones damaging it. then the mob just kills the noobs and goes on its merry ways...or it gets killed. whichever comes first.

The moral of this story is that if you go AFK in a village, do it in the air on a flying mount.

Lol I always do that. I was pointing this out as a reason to add barriers to cities other than Race Capitals.

I think one time I saw somebody drag that boss to the Temple, even. I never thought somebody would take the time to bring it there, so I wasn't idling in the air. Of course it quickly got killed by a large handful of high levels who seemed to come right on time.
