Please get rid or Player Information or at least allow me to disable this function.

I do not necessarily want my opponent to see my kit!

I has to be the dummest feature of the game--the only feature that would drive me away from the game.

Please take a serious look at this issue.

Thank you.

You'll get used to it.. it's no big deal, really.
When i first played PW, i was worried about this too, but in the end it didn't really matter.
What's so bad about seeing other's equip?

No, just no. If your gear is good, you shouldn't need to hide it.

It makes picking your fights easy. If you know you can't beat them, don't try.

Disabling this also makes it impossible to show off your equips to others.

Player Information ruins the element of surprise and strategy.

I've played PW-MY and was doing pretty good but I've decided to quit because of this single feature.

I wear 'unorthodox' set and I prefer that my opponent do not know what my build is.

I will say this, if PW-I wants my money, they must remove this feature or at least give me the option to disable it.

PW-I is in it's infancy, I hope that the publisher have better foresight.

You know, saying things like "do what i want or else..." won't give you the reaction you expect.

FYI, not an idle threat. It is a statement of fact.

I don't particularly care for your opinion anyway.

This is a "Suggestion" section, which I assume should really be for the publisher, not individuals with zero contribution.

I think having an option to enable/disable Player Info is a good thing....... Myselt sometime want to show off my gears too but not in a duel :( . Pvp is mostly about gears/build and fighting style. If others can easily see through my stuffs, that's 50% of my strategy is known

    Just my 2cents :)

When i saw that feature i thought it was bad for the game, but it is useful for:
showing your complete equipment to anyone
it adds to the strategy in any fight (pvp)
    it helps you recognize hackers
it allows you to find bugged items
you can also see if someone is using what you want to buy

And i think this feature should be on for everyone with no hide button.

Dude there's no need to get angry or offended this is a forum, this is where people talk about things and give their opinions, if you can't handle someone having a different opinion then you, then maybe you should find find an alternative method of trying to reaching the developers.

and the fact is, if they don't change it, you won't play. Which is an indirect threat.

Oh, another one of those people who can't handle the fact someone has a different opinion? Ever heard of that thing called "freedom of speech"?
If this section was purely for publishers then only admins could post replies here.

You, Sir, are a failure. Threat would indicate my continuance in the game until a condition is met. Statement of fact indicates cessation.

I have no problem with people expressing constructive criticisms, but you, being boorish, have not demonstrated any ability worthy of my confidence.

I underline the statement that I consider false. Why? To see someone's player information, you have to be in range (I don't know exactly, but I'd say 25-30m), and select the person of which you want to see player information.

If someone clicked on you to check out your equipment, that means they know you are nearby, so good luck in surprising them now.

About the strategy part. It brings in a different kind of strategy (which you obviously don't like for some reason). If you want to duel, then you can have a look at the other person's equipment and try to guess how he will attack based on that. You build your strategy on how you think he will act. He will do the same for you. It's a mind game. Knowing all that, you have to find a strategy to outwit your opponent. If you were talking about surprise in the context of duels, then that's where it comes in. Act outside the "stereotypical" way your opponent thinks you will act, and you will surprise him.

Now please stop acting all high and mighty, calling people failures, boorish or saying they are unworthy of your oh so important confidence. You posted both a suggestion and an opinion in a public forum, so accept the fact that people can and will disagree.
