Q: Fodders and Cages

You have to get a Cage or 20 Fodders to get a extra pet slot Through doing a quest.
Could someone tell me about these items, where I can find them? I've read on the forums that Cages are Item Mall only, could anyone confirm that?

Lol wow, they call Green Grass Fodders now? How is a blade of grass a fodder? Meh, whatever.
The item you need is supposed to drop in meh rates from any kind of Turtles, but there's another monster that drops it at a much higher rate around level 30. Don't bother leveling that high though, unless you really want, since everything will be wiped anyway.
Cages are Cash Shop (AKA Item Mall), which I'm like 99.99 percent sure will not be available in CB, since payinng money for items that will be wiped is not cool.Proud Pre-Launch CO and Pre-Launch STO Lifetime Subscriber.0 -

Best monster for fodder is the antilopes which span just south of tears of heaven city.
Im not sure what the translations are in this game. Antilpoes are the white gazelle things about level 30, and tears of heaven city is the floating city in the sky you can see above the lakes SW of the big city in the middle (Acrosaur?) aka Ancient dragon city.
Drop rate is pretty bad, and buying them is expensive, also because theres a stupid quest about level 75 than needs about 100 of them. (what were the devs thinking?)
Cage is a cash shop item.0 -
The question was kinda answered. I didn't bother telling about the antelopes because most people won't be high enough level to farm them in CB, but your's is a nice complete description. Gotta mention that the rate off antelopes is noticably higher than turtles.Proud Pre-Launch CO and Pre-Launch STO Lifetime Subscriber.0

Stupid question, I am sure, but what is an extra spot in your pet bag for? So you can tame more pets?
If so, what is the tame limit before getting the extra spot?0 -
Yeah it allows you to have more tamed pets.
You start off with 1 open slot in the bag, and get a 2nd one for free when you learn your tame skill. After that you have to either do the fodder quest or buy cages from the cash shop to open more slots.
You can take a pet out of your bag by restoring it at the pet trainer.0 -
When the pet is restored at the pet trainer does it lose its lvl, loyalty, and learned skills? and by restoring i am assuming you are referring to turning it into an egg? If the stats aren't reset, does it cost more to hatch it again?0
