so i noticed when i am melee attacking, if i run in any direction (movement), i stop attacking.
is there a way to autoattack an enemy and remain attacking whenever i am in melee range?

this would be a major problem for me in pvp. first mmorpg ive played that cancels autoattack when i use movement.

There's no feature like that in this game engine. You have to manually attack after each movement. To be fair, most of the time in PvP, as a melee, you're going to be using skills that do more damage, which won't be automated that much anyway.

Hmmm... it seems like it is so. I don't play a melee character so I've never really noticed ^_^. Autoattack can be hotkeyed. Also, I think you can chain an attack macro with "ALT+R" which sort of allows you to move and continue attacking. Mostly though, auto-attack is used I think to raise chi? More dame comes from skills, which you would alternate using while kiting or running around I think.

    wow, i am very disappointed.
this takes out a significant amount of damage (regular attacks) for melee characters when chasing a fleeing opponent.
not to mention the inconvenience of having to constantly hit a button just to attack regularly...

iguess ill have to get used to it in cb or change to ranged.

thanks for your replies everyone =]
