First impressions

Coming from the other server my impressions are a wee bit different then someone who is first coming to the game. That being said I am so far impressed. Here's some reasons why:

1) PvP or PvE servers...yes I understand they are not all available, but knowing that you will be able to choose eventually is a very nice idea.

2) Nice not to read broken english and try to pick out what the NPC's are saying.

and this one is the biggest one:

3) Lag...or lack there of. When I first logged into my WF on PWI... or VM as they are called here ... I fully expected for the area to be packed and the lag so bad that i wouldn't be able to do anything at all. After all that is the norm on PW-MY, but when I logged in not only could i move...but I could fight with no problem as well. And yes the area was packed. There was a wee bit of lag at one point, but it was easily fixed by pressing the magic buttons. LOL I still don't have faith that ADC will not have lag but we will have to wait on that one.

Only thing I have a problem with so far is getting use to the differences in the games...ie: the name changes of mobs, VM instead of WF, Spirit instead of SP, etc. This of course I'll get used to in time.

Translation of first impressions: Good enough that PW-MY is no longer on my computer. Just wish we could have a couple new hairstyles xD

    I was so happy when i started my client and tryed my wiz, it was so smooth to compare my pw. i enjoy playing my charr more now,i enjoy soloing,doing quest.

    Indeed! The no skill delay makes the Wizard much more enjoyable. I can kite with ease and play full int without too much trouble. Too bad I rolled Light Armor -_-

    At first I was annoyed as soon as it was launched as you can probably see if you read some of my older threads but now i'm hooked on the game....for now..

    I really like the quests tbh.

    I hate them so freakin' much man xD They just ask you to kill some random mob, which results me in searching for at least 15+ min.

    Must say, I played this the whole day, and at the end I felt quite bored. Probably because I could only use 2 skills and kill mobs....gets repetitive very quick.

    I expect this game to become far more ''fun'' on later lvls. If not, I'll probably quite soon :(

    So far im enjoying the game. Its your typical Asian MMO, but the game looks pretty good with my system bumped up to max and the gameplay isnt too bad. Quests are kinda cheesy and im looking all over the place for some wood and cant find any :o

    I was disappointed with no pve server, but im dealing with it. I doubt its going to be much of an issue really. I dont mind pvp I just dont want to do it all the time after level 30.

    My biggest complaint is pet pathing. Its horrible in this game. I call my pet in town and when I try and leave town the stupid thing wont leave town. I have to get outside the gate and recall it to get it to move past the town gate. When I get into the water to go after a turtle I have to leave the pet on the shore because it will disappear if it gets in the water. Sometimes, even when I leave it on shore it will disappear if I go out too far to grab a turtle and I have to try and recall it during a fight. Pathing is awful:mad:

    I havent tried the guild functions yet as the guild I joined are all over the place and im not too sure how guilds even work in this game. Do we have guild tags over our name? Do we have to be a certain level to start a guild or have certain amount of money to start one?

    All in all it is what it is. Its something to do. Its a F2play MMO and im enjoying it even though I have found issues with the game and the way the pve server fiasco was handled.

    It's a protection against people who think it's funny to lure boss monsters into towns. And since pets are actually mobs, they get stuck, too =/
    PW has been endless frustration for me #2

    I hate to say it but after playing last night, and even though I consider this game to be better than most free MMOs, its still just another free MMO in my book. Ill give the game another go today, but I found myself somewhat bored with the game.

    its laggy and the ping is alot higher than i expected :O

    But apart from that its awesome! : )

    I need a better videocard -_- only time it's running ''absolutely perfect'' is when I use the special ''graphical'' button in case there are too many peeps and such.

    But that just sucks, I'll be getting a new card tomorrow just for this game, so admins, feel honored! >:O
