Playing on a laptop but can't use arrow keys?

Hi,

I do all my gaming on a laptop, so I need to be able to rotate camera using the arrow keys. I can't find a setting for that. In all other games I play that is either standard or an option, but I can't find it in PW. Am I missing something, or?

    I noticed that too. I don't think they have that option..unless I missed it. Go buy a mouse. ;)

    You can change the A+D keys to be camera moving in the system settings. But i have not found anything for up,down

    I often play while traveling and do not have anywhere to put an external mouse. I would also like to be able to play while sitting in a chair or on the couch where an external mouse can't be used. It all works fine if the arrow keys can be mapped.

    I have touch pads for years and is not going to change that for one game, not even this one! :)

    All other games I play have arrow key support. It was the first thing I looked for after having logged in. It didn't even occur to me that it wasn't supported! Oh well...

    I got my first laptop 6 months ago... and i have no problems with rotating the camera with a touchpad...
    PW has been endless frustration for me #2

    :eek: Could you tell me how to rotate the camera with a touchpad?
    *new in laptop gaming :p*

    Or why on earth there can't be a setting that makes the camera move automatically behind the character? Or if there is let me know.... I think it's a majore problem

    Yea...
    I'm mad about that too...
    So I have to hold down right mouse button to turn...
    Then sometimes, it I hold it too long, it crashes me...

    There is a thing. Just go to game settings and click on 3rd tab on top. There should be a thing that says A - D keys or something like that. Apply it and it should work. (There are no keys for shifting camera up and down... other than holding right-mouse button and moving the mouse...)

    This thread is about using arrow keys to rotate the camera, not for walking. Since most people find using the touchpad kinda annoying and the A-D-keys only let you rotate left and right.

    Well, I also happen to be left handed which makes it extra difficult. Anyhow, if you can do it, fine. But I can't play that way. Thankfully most other mmos has arrow key support so it's not like I will not be able to play. Again, this is a matter or preference. There's no reason to leave arrow support out of a game. I'm sure it will be added at some point.

    Thank you! It's that simple.

    I've felt I've had to defend why I would want arrow key support. That's shouldn't be necessary. It's obvious!

    I can't imagine this game will leave beta with limited control options. How's the Asian English version of the game in this regard? I've already had three of ten people I know leave the beta because of lack of control options. I choose to think it's a beta phenomenon. If not it's simply not for me.
