Can not patch

Just sits at buff_str.txt and does nothing. I read servers are up so it should be working, correct?

    Yeah, I have the same exact problem. 2 of the servers are up, and some people have gotten through. There are a lot having problems connecting as well.

    uhh my patch stopped at elements.data and does nothing even after reboot or reinstall could someone maybe create a patch to download to patch the game manually?

    I have the same issue with elements.data. I've been restarting the patcher and hoping for more progress, but even when I finally had enough patience to wait a while, I eventually got a download error message that asked me if I wanted to retry. If someone can post a manual patch, that'd be great... and how to do it, for us who aren't so good at programming stuff. ^^;

    I was able to manually patch up to the latest version by replacing the entire PW folder with a fully patched version (The game works on my laptop but not on my desktop PC).

    Both of my computers do meet the game's system requirements. My desktop has Windows XP, while my laptop has Windows Vista.

    Even though the desktop PC has the latest patch and shows as game version 3, I still cannot log into the server. The server names show, but the status info is blank.. So the problem here is not just the updating, but also connecting to the in-game server.

    It's great that I can get PW to work on my laptop, but I'd really like it to work on my desktop PC, which is the computer I'm allowed to use more often :(.

    Lol I'm not surprised with the errors, no game ever starts without a hitch.

    But you can still fix it quickly. ^^

    mine stopped at tasks.data. I didn't expect the game to patch when I first ran it though...

    Mine is stuck at tasks.data as well. ^^;
