Pataka? Weapon

Its listed as a weapon for the wizards on the class page. Does anyone know what it is? Im sorry if this was posted before , but I cant find a search function on these forums.

    I think it's that wierd wand looking thing. Looks a bit like a mace, but symmetrical

    Well oddly/sadly, a Pataka is a hut or container which things can be stored in. So why it is being listed as a weapon in Perfect World is odd to me. I know they have higher magical damage amounts than wands, so my wiz babe uses them.

    Probably just went to the last page and clicked a thread.

    BTW: A pataka has higher max dmg, but lower min dmg. The avarage is about the same on both, wand is simply for more constand dmg (felt like awnsering our necromancer)
