who here actually likes being the full support type

i always found healing/buffings others more tedious than fighting and killing. do people actually like being the supportive type? i know we need clerics in the game to keep the balance but do people actually enjoy healing/buffing?

    Never done it in PW, but other games... sure.

    I'm always the healer in MMOs.

    WoW -> priest and resto druid
    RO -> acolyte->priest->high priest

    and so forth.

    Believe me in PW they have no choice:p, except in war

    In World of Warcraft I enjoyed being a lazy **** in dungeons I could sit back chillax eat takeaways all while healing and moving with the group using the mouse. Healing is a cakewalk and you get lewtz at the end of the run while the warrior moans about broken gear and no drops :cool:

    playing healer is fun so long as you're with friends.

    soon as you play with strangers you're at risk of their stupid decisions like charging into middle of mobs, bringing a ton of aggro down on whole party and wasting hiero/dying/causing general chaos, then blaming the healer.

    it's always the healer's fault ;)

    then again you get to decide who lives and who dies: people can be fun to toy with.

    :0 nah one time it went more like this, i was with a buncha power controling noobs that didnt know what to do.

    I've seen similar things happen gets annoying when fools rush in.

    i love it too, I'm always a healer or the main tank. I like MMO's that emphasize teamwork i've never been the PVP type always a support. *hands out Ted E Bear* there ya go! see? supportive! :cool:

    I love being an FS. ^^;; I really like being a supporting factor of a party, not to mention the fact that I can't stand to solo,:rolleyes: I have an FS on iRO, and I absoloutly love it. It is a difficult class to master, dispite what people say, and it's really great to have party members tell you that it was a blast partying with you, or that you are a great FS. I guess the plus side is that I like to help people, and be helpful.

    Anyways. I <3 Being an FS. ^o^v

    Oh yeah I forgot the random healing and buffs when out grinding. had that happen to me someone was healing me and i was wondering "why am i carving up yet not getting a scratch... Hm o well!"

    nah i hate supportive jobs.. it might be party happy, but when soloing its pretty bad usually :/

    i've played every type of character over my years in MMOs. had all the main types in Everquest, played everything but healer in Flyff, and in WoW i played every class except for shaman.

    What sucks as the Support is the endless warrior requests:

    "U buff me?"
    "Who are you again?"
    "WR plz buff"
    "Well, since you are a stranger... Pay me"
    WTF!!!! Just buff me"
    "1000 for buffing"
    "..."
    "Normality is the Death of Personality,
    Less Idelogy, More Fantasy."

    Support jobs are awesome. I played a Warrior in MyEn, and loved it - they're the perfect class in HH and such. All they do is sit there, deal their damage, do their buff, and leech the drops :cool:.

    I definitly love playing healer/supporter! I like helping ppl, and you at least feel helpfull all the way :D

    ... and the EP got an Ion-Beam to heal. What else do ppl need to be happy? :cool:

    I was playing a FS aco->FS priest->FS high aco->FS high priest in RO <.<
    I guess that says everything.

    I LOVE being FS. Here is why:

    1) A TON OF XP. Which is nice.

    2) High demnd for partners. I don't like playing alone.

    3) In my life I actually volunteer and my job is a lifeguard, so if I'm working irl to help people, chances are I'd enjoy working in-game to help people. And I do.

    4) If someone is REALLY ANNOYING.... Then you leave, and they lose more than you do. when I play FlyFF, people have actually BEGGED me to come back. Appearantly no other FS would put up with their antics? =/ Either way, I don't care as long as they apoligize profusely >D

    Ppl called me crazy over and over .. but i'm that type, I always like to play buffer for some reason. It keeps you focused and busy even though you aren't main DPS, it's almost never the same. Well that's what I think. I also like to be a disco boy. But that's something different.:D

    I find supporting + healing really fun and challenging to be honest. :x
