The Whirlwind Barbarian


Whirlwind barbarians are great in PVM because of how fast you can clean out a room. This build is hard to play in PVP but if you can reach your opponent, they're dead. Last but not least, it's a pretty fun build to play.

You will need the following stats:

Stat Build

110 Strength - This is enough for everything you'd need for this build.
200 Dexterity - This gives you a maxed out block and enough hit that you won't miss. Missing in this build is pretty much death, so a high dexterity is important.
30 Energy - A bit of MP doesn't hurt.
Dumpstat Vitality - All of your extra points should go into Vitality, for the HP (dur.)

Skill Build

20 Axe Mastery
20 Battle Order
20 Whirlwind (SURPRISE)
20 Shout
20 Iron Skin
1 Increased Speed
Dumpstat Natural Resistance

Endgame Gear

Weapon: Breath of the Dying Ethereal Berserker with 380+ ED.
Gloves: Either Steelrends.
Rings: 2 Perfect Raven Frosts.
Amulet: Highlords Wrath.
Belt: Verdungos with 15 DR and 40 Vitality.
Armor: Enigma Archon Plate. You'll need enigma if you're going to reach anyone.
Helm: Perfect or near perfect Arreats Face with a IAS jewel.
Shield: Storm Shield with a IAS jewel.
Boots: Gore Riders.
Charms: An Annihilus and then fill your inventory up with 3/20/20s.

The build is simple. Whirlwind everything to kill them, keep up battle orders and use Iron Skin and Shout against melee. Warp around and whirlwind and your enemies will drop in no time!
