Need some help over here....

Umm, first of all did you download the client from this site or another one? There are multiple versions of Perfect World, Perfect World Malaysia being the most (in)famous across global community.

If you wish to play the International version of PW (this one), you should download the client from http://www.perfectworld.com/download or from the RageQuit's mirror (can be found in general section).

After youve downloaded the client, you need to extract it to some random folder (desktop is fine) and install it. Then you have to wait till the 19th to actually patch and play the game

EDIT: Beta Keys are available from multiple sites, in worst case scenario you'll have to register to the site giving them away, which usually is free. And everyone who has a Closed Beta key will start on the 19th.

WoW is complete ****, delete it for your own good.

But seeing as how many of mystic's recent posts (as well as a few other people) have been far worse than any of mine ever were and nobody said anything about it... I don't think so.

So, if you don't like the way I tell people to make their posts ****ing readable, then do it yourself so I don't have to: keeping the forums clean is a moderator's duty and bad grammar and txt-spk are the greatest poison any forum can have.
As for WoW it can't be denied that it's **** and talk about other mmos shouldn't be here unless it's to diss it.

Edit: and I agree I came on a bit strong, but the bulls*** never ends and it's getting annoying. It's no different than the 5000 dupe topics about "SARVR^???" and "CLIANT NO WERK"

I'm sorry if I give you the impression that I don't like you. I can assure you, I have no such feelings. I just noticed this post, and it does look awfully insulting. I'm as much of a pedant of the English language as the next guy, however not everyone holds themselves to the same standards as you and I.

Abbreviated spellings run rampant on the Internet these days. We just have to tolerate it. Expect a lot worse as more and more people join who don't have English as their first language.

Keeping things orderly and clean is one thing, but picking on people for a small spelling or grammar mistake will just create animosity and drive people away. It goes against the idea of the nice, friendly, respectful community they're trying to create.

Nice and respectful community is always appreciate by most. But there MUST be a place for those of us who dislike the use of abbrevations and "leet" chat.

There is nothig as dirupting than people unable to use the keys on their keyboard. OF course there are some who misspell and even the occasional typo. But that's another thing entirely.

The job of a moderator is not to point out a people for breaking the rules, but simply to removed the topics/postings that are in violation of the given rules. But coming out with a personal opinion on a game totally unrelated to Perfect World isn't defaming of persons, nor is it in anyway flamming or trolling.

One of the rules clearly state no advertising, so by the simple mention of World of Warcraft, it could be seen as advertising and therefore should be subjected to the same rules as flamming/trolling.

But that's just how I see things. As long as there isn't an attack on he person who mentioned WoW in the first place, there really wasn't anything wrong with rens statement about said game. Trust me, he is not alone in the contempt for WoW.
