PVP vs PvE?

Yes, this is a n00b question...

What is the difference between the two? I heard there was going to be a PvP and a PvE server...

Can u turn PvX status on or off...or is anyone over level 30 fair game to kill at any time?

Just curious about this...

    PVE = "Player versus Environment".
    You'll be able to decide whether or not you can be Pked. So yes .. you'll be able to turn it on and off.

    PvP = "Player vs Player"
    Anyone(lvl30+) can Pk you after you're lvl30+ and you can do the same to them.
    Isn't necessarily always 1v1 it could be "unfair" as well.

    pve servers are not fun, pvp servers are fun.

    some ppl dont like PK, so dont say something "is" and something basicly "isnt"
    i prefer the PvE server as i just like to play the game and not have to go through the army of deaths by other blood thirsty nubs who like to jump ppl and claim they owned u

    so id rather do PvE and just simply ask for a duel and do TW later on in lvls which im hopeing wont get currupt to fk like PW-MY has

    If you want to play with pvp off, a game better suited to you is:
    Crysis
    tetris
    hello kitty online
    dark messiah of might and magic
    oblivion
    etc.

    MMOs are about mass pvp and risk.

    i prefer play on pve servers and i play allot of mmos because im so sick of loser that hang around low lvl areas and just kill player that will still happen here i mean once u hit lvl 30 so loser will hang aroudn that area and kill u but once i get close 2 the max lvl i turn pvp on and u still can have allot of fun pvping people in a pve server

    It depends on your reference, if you like the challenge, go PvP. If not then go PvE. You can always switch over between servers when OB comes, if you find the other less suited for you.
