My introduction.

Hello there, my fellow Perfect world players..

I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here.. but, as you can see I'm not good at introductions :o. Umm.. uhh.. what should I say...

OH yeah, if this thread is supposed to go to another section, please move it.. but I didn't notice an introduction forum, so I posted here ^.^

Anyway, I'll tell you a little bit about myself.. even though you might not be interested at all but.. meh xD.

I'm only 14 years old. I come from Egypt.. and I actually still live there. And NO, I do NOT ride camels, live in pyramids ( or tents), mummify people, wear white cloaks, turbans or any of that crazy **** you see in on TV. I'm a very, very normal person that you see in your everyday life... trust me! :p
I'm kind of a sensitive person... you know... zero self esteem... not pissed off easily... Helpful sometimes... And well... sometimes I accidentally turn on pervert mode so never take me seriously when I'm like that... especially when I'm sleepy!
I'm not good at continuing discussions.. probably 'cause I'm hesitant, but I dunno.. that's just me... for now at least. (RANDOM FACT: ROCK AND METAL MUSIC FTWZORZBBQWTF)

Some of the things/people I hate are... 'ub4r 1337 d00ds', 'ppl tht nvr hrd of vwls', '**** attempting poetry', 'PEOPLE WHO ATE THEIR CAPS LOCKS WITH KETCHUP AND MAYONAISE AND... SOME OTHER DISGUSTING STUFF LOL' ... And my never dying nemesis... LAG *gasp* RUN FOR YOUR SANITY!!

*Cough cough... Anyway, about my history with games.. or perfect world specifically, I used to play the Malaysian version ever since closed beta started. It was nice at the beginning, but then I came to realize that playing a warrior with 500 constant ping is literally impossible, so I quit. My guild, Fatality(Eternal) moved on to play the US cabal, so I really had no reason to continue playing. Some of you might remember me, my usual nickname was Mukizu. I had also started a guide for newbies on the Malaysian forums, but after I quit I gave up on it.

After... what's it been... a year? I got bored of all (yeah, literally all) the games I had so I hopped onto mmorpg.com, expecting to find nothing new. But then I saw this new version of Perfect world, mentioned as the "International version", so i took a look.. and honestly, the quality of the site, forums and the people on it made me feel like I should give it a try. So I got my key, downloaded the game. Now I'm just waiting for the 19th of august.. which reminds me, my birthday is only 5 days after that ^.^

I intend to be a 'helper' type of player, I might even start working on another, complete guide for the game after it's released. I'll also be helping people in-game, so if you need anything just whisper me. Feel free to PM me questions on the forums also.. but don't expect answers before like a couple days into closed beta, I forgot almost everything about the game. But I'm sure it'll all come back quickly.
And I'll be playing on a PvP server, still haven't decided which one yet, I will update this thread once I've chosen one. (NOT-SO-RANDOM FACT: I WUBZ PVP SERVERS)

There is one thing I haven't decided though, for which I want your opinions.. what class should I pick? Right now I'm thinking of making a priest(cleric), since I'll be able to heal/buff people. But then again.. healers were never my choice of class. I usually pick the melee type.. but picking a warrior right off the bat will be a foolish gamble, since I don't know how the lag's gonna be.

Soooo... what do you guys and girls think?

    i can't express how relieving it is to know that there are players out there who are willing to help people in this game. i'll be playing a cleric most likely, mainly since i enjoy healing classes, and i can't wait to experience it in perfect world. ^_^ hope to see you in the game!

    Nice read, but I don't think you should list what you'll make your name character here. Someone here might just be a prick and take it for you asap when the beta starts.

    And I'm sorry to let you down but I haven't gotten in touch with fatality in almost a year. And I'm not sure about Atrocity either.. the name doesn't even ring any bells.

    Atrocity is a merging of both fatality and another guild. If you're interested kryptic seemed intent on playing this server ;D

    In any case nice to see a social face around ;D

    People get really annoyed when you correct them.
    I usually just ignore people who can't (Can not, lol) get their words right.

    give me a good reason to take the time to spell out my words instead of making them shorter

    ex: u= you 2=to/two/too ur= your/ you're

    makes things faster and more convienent i hate people that think there all high and mighty because they use proper english not all of us know perfect english and like to make things shorter

    "think there all high" - they're
    Try to use "," and "." more also.

    Well, I already joined RQ. Would be awesome if kryptic and the other joined us or even made their own guild and allied with us or something.

    And about the little off topic argument here... using proper English, punctuating and not abbreviating a lot makes reading much easier and doesn't make you look like a 7 year old lazy kid.

    And even if you choose to abbreviate stuff like 'u', type 'they're', 'their' and 'there' correctly so nobody picks on you :P.

    Anyway, let's leave that here and get back on.. umm... topic? what WAS the topic? lol

    Playing a female character and get hit on by 10 year old horny kids doesn't sound so good to me... yet, pets are quite appealing. Hmm... I'm still trying to decide between Ranger and Cleric... maybe even barbarian.

    Healing people is awesome, you always get many friends, and get really popular, especially if u heal people without them asking.

    Yeah, really the amount of nub speach I've seen. I have gotten to a point when someone is sending me "lfm 2 wc, hp + pp + rw u in?". I don't even want to acknowledge that as an actual language by dignifying it with a responce.

    Sure less typing for the person, but it just stinks of lazyness. Usually that stink of lazyness carries into their play as well. I can not even count the number of times anymore where I've joined parties knowing they are talking that way. All of them had been bad experience were I was doing most of the work.

    So basically my policy is if they spent the effort to communicate properly I'll dignify with a response and if able assist. I will at the least dignify with a response since they had given the effort.

    Yeah, as far as to remember use of their and there (They're you really need help if you type this meaning the other two).
    their = ownership, to say this is posessive. Easy way to remember is taking the word "eir" out of it as in "eir to the throne"
    there = location, this is to direct the object is located somewere.

    Another I see missed is:
    than = comparison, "2 is greater than 1" or "Blue I prefer more than Orange" or "I like Cindy more than Linda"
    then = sequence, "After cleaning the dishes then go vaccume" or "I went to a bar with Cindy then spent the night at Linda's house"

    And that's why it's hard to understand whatever the f*** you're saying. And it's very obvious that 'lazy' people exist all over the internet, it's no news. Just get over it already... sigh...
