Corrupt file?

I've downloaded the client from the Direct Download Link and twice, when I try to extract it with WinRAR, I get a message saying the archive is corrupt or split into multiple parts. I've download it twice and that's 4gb worth of download and a major hit on my monthly limit.

Anyone know why I'm getting that message?

Nope, WinRAR says it's the entire archive; Perfect_World_International.zip

this is why i love torrents. will never happen to you.

get a torrent client, open the torrent.
it will ask you where you want to save it - tell it to save where your Perfect_World_International.zip lies. (replace the underscores with spaces though)
it will then check your file and download the parts that are corrupt
PW has been endless frustration for me #2

I did exactly as you said and uTorrent checked all the way to 100% and entered seeding mode as if nothing was wrong with the files :(

Have you tried using winzip or 7zip (or even the built-in windows extraction utility)?

For some god-forsaken reason, when I used WinZIP, it worked! Thanks a LOT, ryuuzaki ^^

    You're welcome. ^_^

Perhaps you're using an old version of WinRAR? I believe mine extracted it without issue... *shrug*

At least we've found one possible work-around in case someone else discovers the same problem. :)
