so where will the servers be?

i just have a question about how many servers will PWI have when it goes live.
for example will it have a server on the west coast, one on the east coast and one for the middle states? and will it tell you what your ping is for each server at the beginning so you can pick one thats best for you?

    oh...i didnt know that, my first mmo was lineage 2 and they had many servers and i didnt even know what ping was, so instead of picking the lowest one i picked on that was in the middle...hahahah what a nub...=/

    They like to have things right near to the administrative offices. That way, if something goes wrong with a server... they're right there and the tech staff can get right on it.

    Not just one, but all the game servers will most likely be in the same location. I wouldn't worry - they seem quite confident about them.

    why are you guys worried about being in another state? Do you realise electricity move at the speed of light?

    anywhere in the USA is likely to have <100 ms ping which is perfect for mmo's. Think about the ones in europe and ppl like me in south africa that will have 200-300ms T_T.

    Still better than having 400-700ms like on the MY servers... and for those who are not satisfied with 200-300 ms... there are still EU servers to try.
    PW has been endless frustration for me #2

    I could care less where it's at tbh.

    I just hope that I have a good enough connection to play it.

    Wow, and I thought my 200-300 on Malay was bad. >.<

    Lag was one of the reasons RQ quit PW a long time ago.

    I quit PW-MY cause of lag and screwed translations.
    200ms is a lot better than the 400-700 i was getting on the my servers.
    EU servers are ~60 ms away from me (since they are stationed in germany - it can't be better for me) but i don't really want to play there.

    I'll compare the 2 versions when they're out and then decide where to play.
