Hey guys
I was thinking about about one Str based cleric!
Is that a good idea?
It could use just enough Int to use some Def Skills, And use weaps to fight;
What do you think about?

You will be weak as hell:
    - the cleric doesn't have any melee atk skills
    - if you go str, you will sacrifice int, leads to: low heal, low mp (and even pure int clerics have mp problems)
    - again, if you go str, you will also have to sacrifice con, leads to: low hp (and clerics don't have a big hp modifier anyway)
    - aren't most higher level weapons are class restricted, bows for example?
    - even if you can carry a melee weapon, you won't be able to cast ANY of your skills as they require you to use bare hands or a magic weapon
    - if you decide to carry a magic weapon, your p-atk will be low compared to normal weapons
    - again, if you want to carry a magic weapon, you need high int - no points left for str.

    -> bad idea.
PW has been endless frustration for me #2

If you want to wield a melee weapon, then either play a Barbarian, Blademaster, or Venomancer. I would, personally, choose Barbarian because they can be godly at PK if you build them right. Inflamez, for example. Plus, they're tanks. Everybody loves tanks.;)

I have alredy a Wr lv 41, a werefox lv 95, understand that i will be borded to make an otehr wr in PWI.
    And besides i hate BB!
I begun make one WF, str based and it works pretty well, she atkmobs and the pet also, not really weak, besides u can make ur pet atk one other mob and you atk one other wich is really usefull for quests, so why is that such bad idea to make a Cleric Str?
how ever i understand, but I really dunno, i am tired of all those classes,
WR pls enough, and besides I dunno why my WR lv 41 is pretty weak, did i build it wong? no idea, i mean i have to rest after kill one mob
and if 2 mobs take me i am die!
can u sugest me some build?
and do you think i should choice one spetific weap like blade or sword, and keep it 10lv, or take all weaps lv by lv?

    realy no idea...

As a Blademaster, just look at my weapon guide in that section of the forums.

Anyways...a melee cleric is bad simply because he won't be as powerful as any other melee class. And in PK, he'll be useless.

You can make it for fun though lolz.

Its bad because Priests aren't' like WFs.

WF is MADE to be able to have a polymorphing build, hybrid str/int because it has both skill trees that makes use of the str part of the build AND int part of the build.

Priest depend on int and int ONLY for
    -heals
    -equips
    -mp

So STR build won't work. I don't get what's so hard to understand. Some builds for some class just doesn't work period.

not true i use sword and can still cast if u wanna make a pally type char like i did u need to have str dex or u wont hit ne thing and vit so ur not easy kill i also get mag so i can use me mana sheild skill long as u have the chi

    so im using 2mag 1str 1vit 1dex every lvl

    worked ok for me lol

    I had tried a str/dex cleric.
its ok but you will end up needing a party eventaully.
I got mine up to levle 19 and it became very difficult from that point on.

you can wear heavy armor, use melee weapons, and have very high defense.
but your gonna need to carry 2 weapons, your melee and the 2nd quest magic weapon.

you will have to switch to magic weapon to buff yourself, heal after a fight, and pull with ranged attack to start a fight, then switch to melee when the monster gets to you and auto attack til its dead.

it works very well but like i said as enemies get more powerful your attacks start to get weaker and you have 2 choices either you stop putting points into str/dex and put the rest in con for 10+ levels or find a healing cleric to duo with.

A str/dex cleric can be done but its more work and requires a lot of patience and testing.
