i thought that the 100 x 500 pixel limit was just the forum mods f***ing about with the settings before settling on a reasonable size (i mean it was set at a HUMONGOUS 300 x 600 a little earlier)

perhaps some of you are also dissatisfied with a poxy 100 pixel height limit and wish to air your opinion, posting here, and / or adding text to your sigs might alert orinj / xarfox to their mistake so they can rectify it sooner rather than later

    500x250 is almost perfect, and typical for most boards.
    500x300 has been allowed on a few, and it's not as bad as whiners make it out to be.
    Anything under 200 height is a joke plain and simple.

    Why is the size of it such a big deal? Be happy that they now have sigs.

    Keke. Got mine before they changed the limits. Also, your sig would only exacerbate the problem - "Oh look at that huge long annoying sig, let's impose the limit on text as well and not allow sigs to be tall and annoying"

    Are you guys seriuos. My beautiful hand-made sig is 125px in height and its SQUASHED. That's just not right.

    200-500 is a good size (arcanes signature) and I would perfectly happy with that. I would also be fine with 200x600. but 300 was just too large. mainly because there isn't much visible seperation between posts so when your signature is huge it just looks like one giant advertisment.

    meatshields signature is also a perfect size.

    regardless of whether signature size is 10x50 or 1000x3000 i still hope there will be an optional 'don't show signatures' option. i haven't found it yet lol
