My friend has been bothering me for the longest time to get this game, and I finally relented and applied for the closed beta the other day. I got accepted (yay and such), but I realized that I know little to nothing about this game. My friends haven't been playing it for that long either, so I'm sure they'll be able to tell me the general stuff, but I don't think they know any tips or tricks that longtime players know. And, at least in my other MMO it's easy to mess up a character from the start by not knowing what you're doing, and I kind of don't want to do that.

Any quick tips to remember for when the beta comes out?

Go to the class section of the forum... It tells you of builds you can use for each character
