When/Where/How can i buy cubi?

when i can buy cubi for this server and how much will and how can i buy?

    hi there!

    our virtual currency will be called ZEN.

    it will be available from us directly.

    the way cubscoutnet did it was a lil different -

    1) cubby sells their currency to third parties
    2) third parties sell the currency to you

    this results in:

    1) cubby getting their money upfront from the vendors so little concern for the actual consumer but great concern for their vendors
    2) third parties sell the virtual currency to you at whatever price they please

    this ultimately results in:

    1) little consideration given to the consumer

    for the time being, ZEN cannot be purchased. ZEN will be available when the game goes live through a variety of payment solutions that most netizens are familiar with.

    well we wouldn't you to spend money on beta cuz everything's gonna be wiped...

    but we do need to test the item mall...

    hmmmm....

    wonder how we can solve that problem? :D

    As long as you have PayPal I'm fine :P but since this is the international version I'm pretty sure you will have that payment option


    Oh and *sigh* ok you can test the item mall with my chara :< just mail me a few hieros, mounts and fashion items

    Now hold on a sec, will ya? He said open beta and not close beta and AFAIK only the CB will be wiped. Please clarify that.

    Chars are going to be wiped only after CB.

    Perhaps a daily Zen alowance, or one big set chunk given for durring CB might be an idea. By having it, people will use it.. and so, test the item mall.

    Sure, folks will be running around all decked out and such... but who cares? It's CB, it'll be gone in a month. Need to test the stuff anyway.

    Another thought which will cause some earlier revenue, but slower and much less extensive testing, is to promise a transfer of all item mall items owned from the last day of CB. Via application maybe.. less work than going through every char. (I find this thought much less favorable then the first one though, I can understand that from a buisness standpoint, the view may be different.) I think this one could cause a good bit more stress though.


    (Not saying there's money issues for you guys btw. After all... pizza in the break room and starbucks on every desk and all's good, right? ;) )

    Two possibilities:

    First, you can give out free ZEN during the beta, since the charwipe is going to occur, it won't unbalance the game and allow people to test out the item mall as much as you want. More testing? More ZEN awarded to the population.

    Second, a little more complicated, let people pay what they will, and when the charwipe occurs, give the buyers a coupon to the email address that they supplied when creating their account, which allows them to get all the ZEN they purchased after the wipe for the character of their choice.

    Note: I need to read the entire thread before posting...sorry for stepping on toes.
