Lol. Since we don't have an irc room yet to chat with other people ( and the fact that I'm also at work ) I guess we'll make this thread to chit-chat for now?

However, feel free to close / delete the thread if it's against the rules.

Anyway! Hello guys. Whats up? I see the sky!

Hmm well I graduated with a media degree recently. Been playin Resident evil 4, city of heroes, battlefield bad company, Rock Band. Does anyone else play Rock Band? I'm pretty good at drums. I can play expert on a buncha songs nowadays.

Oh yeah, i ate some food called "Jamaican Jerk Chicken" today. I was like "woah that's a weird name for food." But then I realized it's more like... beef jerky. That kinda jerk. :D Anyway it was really yummay. It came with broccoli too... that part wasn't so great. Blech!

Wierd! I was watching travel channel earlier today and they were talking about Jerk. It's like Jamaica's unofficial national food. Yeah. Wierd.

Uh oh, someone mentioned Rock Band. Am I going to have to get some challenges going? Btw, I play expert on guitar/bass, working on drums to the point where I am playing all hard/expert. Who wants to play? ;)

You got one mean hamster there.
My kitty sometimes bites too. She's like the female version of Sparta.
If you're wondering, you should search for ' mean kitty ' on youtube. Sparta is a cat who bite's a lot. :p

    ah yes, mean kitty....

i've come across a lot of mean kitties in my time...

next door neighbor used to have like 7 cats. they were hippies (the neighbors not the cats) and they let the cats roam free however they pleased, in and out the house.

the cats never really liked me... they would always hiss when i walked by them on the stairs and even attempted to scratch my ankle on a couple of occasions... that is until one fateful day....

neighbors went on vacation and decided that the cats could fend and take care of themselves. this was true as the cats were "feral". but the first night my neighbors were gone, the cats were crying up a storm wanting the dinner they were accustomed to getting from their now absent hosts.

i took it upon myself to feed them buggers a bunch of tuna i had lying around.

next day before work 7am -

cats crying outside my door again - actually, just one though.

    but it's different.

the cat isn't crying for food; i can tell. he wants me to follow him... he runs ahead of me a few steps, stops, cries, and almost in a weird way beckons for me to follow. so i follow.

and what do u know... the cat leads me to my car. i'm like, "yay great, my car - thank u, cat." but nope, that's not all. by my front-right tire is a fresh rat's head (mmm mmm delish) freshly severed and left for yours truly.... yay, i guess?

this happens for almost the entire week. gifts ranging from rat heads, bird heads, squirrel heads... all heads... weird....

but after that, the cats accepted me into their fold... they would greet me from then on anytime they would see me and would always want me to pet them....

my peace offering of tuna must have done the trick and thensome....

Lol, at least she tries to look good for you. :)

The longest time for me to get ready is like 30 minutes tops. Yeah, kinda long - but my boyfriend appreciates it.

Haha. Stick my hair up in a ponytail and I'm good to go. xD By the way, interesting cat story. xD My cat does the same sort of thing, but not quite so gruesome. She just leaves me grasshopper parts all the time. Ewww. I love cats though. Intelligent and beautiful animals. =D

Lost a few IQ points reading this thread.
Jerk Chicken is a type of roasted chcicken with traditional Caribbean spices.
I think its delicious when it's homemade, but maybe that's just the Caribbean in me speaking.
