WIll there be any IP blocked on these servers?

Like those from countries already having their own localised servers (Malaysia, Vietnam or Philippines, for exemple)?
Frankieraye said : "we can promise that we will work to improve all facets of community, engineering, and customer service to ensure that something like this doesn't happen again."


(We are still waiting to see any improvements or changes beign implemented. More empty promises from PWI?)

    Yes there will be. In fact, my guild leader of RageQuit got those countries to be blocked via e-mail.

    Yes it will be IP blocked on Malaysia, China, Japan, Vietnam or Philippines becuase they have own licensed. International mean that's US and Europe can play. :)

    I asked if the other areas who have their own PW, such as Brazil, will be blocked as well. I never received a response.

    read the thread. only countries who have an official server already can play.
    europe has none - europe is not blocked.
    PW has been endless frustration for me #2

    Countries blocked will most likely be:

    1. Malaysia
    2. China
    3. Taiwan
    4. Thailand
    5. Vietnam
    6. South Korea
    7. Japan
    8. Indonesia
    9. Philippines
    10. Russia
    11. Brazil

    You have mentioned only Europe and US..

    I am from Asia other than countries mentioned.

    I have read the thread btw.

    India doesn't have PW server but we can play MY-EN / PH versions..So I was asking.

    True, but we can expect people to read and understand what posters before said.

    Only countries who already have an official server will be blocked. If your country doesn't have an official server, it's not on the blocklist.

    He didn't get them blocked. He simply confirmed it with them that they were going to be blocked.

    so what if countries end up adding their own official PW server later in time...will they then be blocked?

    i guess i dont have to worry about that since these are american servers but im just curious

    They won't ban anyone that is already in the game due to this - however, newcomers may be blocked if they have their own PW.
