GM/Admin plz help with account?

hi, i was just wondering that since the registration has only been up for a day if my nickname could be changed, cos i basically put a mashed-up version of my account name, since i didnt know what to put, and awhile after registering i happened to think of exactly the right name to put for it..... is there any chance of this happening?

    i think the easiest thing to do here would be to make a new account. we're currently doing a lot of work on the backend and it would require a bit of database work just to change that. so if it's not too much trouble, i'd say go for a new account.

    If ppl make new accounts all time the chanes getting drawed for beta will be lower..

    that would be fine, except maybe for a few things...

    im not sure if it is a bad thing for the same person to have 2 accounts
    i would also like the same account name/password as i have now
    i would need the closed beta key to work again, or to have access to whatever i already had

    so im not really sure if it is easier to make a new account with all these things in mind, or to change the nickname of this account...

    They're giving out beta keys on various websites, so you don't have to worry about that.

    so, can any admins help in any way? either by changing the nickname or by deleting and having me recreate this account? :)

    I think you should just create another account :). The admins are really busy as of this moment so that means they don't have the time to do adjustments to your current account.

    yeah i suppose... but what about the whole thing with having 2 accounts, or wanting to use the same account name? and being in the closed beta?

    Well... if you really wanted a different forum username, you gotta have another account username. That's the only way, really. Also, there are still many available keys being given out right now. I mean, if you're having difficulty finding one, you could have one of my extra keys if you'd like.

    surely it wouldnt be hard for the admins to delete this account? would that make the account name available again?:confused:

    Well... if you insist, then we'll see what they're going to do about your request. If I were you, i'd stick to making a new username. ;)

    yeah, lol, its just that i was finally able to think of an online name that i wanted to stick with, after such a long time ;) (which happens to be the account name), but then i realised that i should put the name of my old character as the nickname (and will be new character) that i spent so long trying to think of :(
    so, its a minor annoyance but its getting on my nerves....:mad: lol...

    Well, if he told you to create a new username, then yes - 2 accounts are allowed under your name.

    to admins, now what am i supposed to do? i cant really create a new account since it requires a different email address... (and that id prefer the same acount name and to keep the beta code)

    i think i need help... lol

    i do understand that you will be busy with the fact that this version is being newly released and you will have a lot to do. however you did imply that it is possible to change an account nickname. even if you were able to do it, sometime in the next few days or weeks... it would be much appreciated. :)

    and might i add, that even though the site has only been up for about a week, the admins are doing a great job! very active and helpful, its so great to see :D especially coming from MY-EN version lol
