Suggestion Section

I know this forum just started but is there or will there be a Suggestion Section where we can suggest what needs to be fixed, or what we would like to see in the game. If there is already a section and i overlooked it my bad.

    I havent seen one yet, good idea though.

    I have a suggestion I kinda posted in my guild topic.

    Would it be possible for the Devs to make the Guild Names be able to have more then 9 charactors? I think it's kinda silly to limit it to that little, 15 would be better in my honest opinion.

    Second of all, why must all guilds have the same guild tags? Such as "Commander" "Guild Master" and so on. I personally think it's quite boring and we should be able to change those like in other games.

    I dunno, just a few random suggestions.

    Although I may just be blind

    I still havn't found a button to send private messages to players from this forum quiet yet, if someone could explain it, or maybe if its not here put it in would be nice

    There isnt one yet that I have found, and i've looked. I'm pretty sure these forums aren't fully done yet either.

    This section of the site is definitely still under construction. In my honest opinion, every forum is a suggestion forum. No matter what forum a topic is in, it's our job here at Perfect World Entertainment to read your posts and receive your feedback.

    I actually have a question for you Xarfox.

    Are the GM's and Admins of this server actually going to be active and do stuff reguarly and be online if someone has a problem?

    Because in most games I have played that RARLY ever happens and I just hope it can happen here =]

    So does that mean we should just post our suggestions in threads under the general section? I see where you are coming from xarfox. I just thought that you guys would have had or be in the process of having one for better organization, thats all but sounds good.

    just to give you a heads up - when the ticketing system goes live, it's gonna have a suggestion box where you can input your thoughts. we appreciate and value your feedback.

    unfortunately, it's just not up and running yet :(

    i found it fine that you have to put a nickname with your account, but the thing that slightly annoyed me was the fact that your username and nickname couldn't be the same. is the reason for this supposed to be to hide account names?

    if you allow them to be the same then there is one info less a hacker needs to **** your account <.<

    The idea behind a seperate nickname and username is that it ISN'T the same basicaly. And yes, the reason probably is to hide the account name :)

    For the suggestion box, im allready curious how it will be! I know quite a lot of games where you can either only submit suggestions on specific topics or you don't get a feedback at all.

    Yeah, that's what I want. A Guilds section for each server, and a Suggestions section.

    I have a few suggestions in regards to the current state of the game on the Malaysian servers. Actually, these are things that I feel should be fixed.

    Broken text - Seems to be a grwoing problem with some mmo's. Horrible! Why there's so many words that are broken. The paragraph justification definately needs work. The one reasion why I quit playing the game.

    Text overrun - Another problem is that the text will expand outside the graphic box, making it difficult to read on either lighter backgrounds or because of the boarder color of the graphic itself.

    System option - Virtually none available to tweak the controls or interface, especially the mouse scroll which seems to be reversed in comparision to most games. The option to change the text font would be nice as well considering the current plain font used for NPC's and such is... well, plain. Lack of these options is the main reason why I no longer play the MY version.

    I guess the bad placement of that option makes it hard to find. options->chat tab-> check the "mouse scoll" checkbox.

    I don't know how the mouse wheel is related to Chat but it's there.

    Can't say much about the others (though hopefully those things are getting fixed), but don't hold your breath on an option to change the font. Usually things like text alignment and justification are based on the font the game uses, and changing it to your own font would almost certainly lead to problems one and two.

    if one wants to change the font badly, s/he can go to the element\data\ folder and replace the fonts there.
    i doubt there will be an option to select a font ingame, because it requires repacking of a .pck archive... they could implement that i guess but it's too much hassle imho - better chose a font that is fitting and readable to most
