Afternnon All,
The team have agreed to give some feedback on some current issues / Things that are broken / Missing Events ETC.
Please note I will not have enough time to ask all the questions if we have 2 many, Questions that have been reciently answered will not be put into this.
Ive had a few questions asked in the last week so ill be asking these as well.
- Any comments not connected to this topic will be removed. I will try to answer all comments back and a list will be made under this post.

About Events
Wanna know about these events
Archosaur Warsong Event -
Dragon's Rise Celebration (+12 orb) -
Celestial Memoire -
Annual animal(zodiac) -
Tiger Questionary (not a big deal but it's broken for years) -
The above events are present in other servers like PWCN(of course), PWRU and PWBR. Celestial Memoire is the event that really blows my mind, is an event that f2p can enjoy but cashers will spend tons of money since there's no limit, the more money you spend more items you get, so why have no effort in bringing an event that makes so much money?
Other stuff
Rent NPC - all servers have except pwi
Dustfall Ultimate Artifact - Will the feature of this item be added to the forges to r8s3 be upgraded to R9r4 someday?
Auctioneer - All servers use this npc to sell/buy gold/coins, would it be possible pwi increases the upper limit of coins so we could use this npc?

Also will there be appropriate compensation, if for example like the Archosaur Warsong event, last boss would not spawn, they would send the items missed due to an unexpected bug via mail box, so the players wouldn't miss out on those?
Will there be no more event shop fashion, and will mounts and flyers be a month dependant thing, or is the new fashion boutique broken this version of the game? That question would be actually interesting.0 -
(1) Are we having the 16th anniversary (Dragon Rise Celebration) next month? If they aren't releasing it, I would like to suggest they package every reward of that event in a CODE instead, and the code is for EVERY toon within an account, not for ONE toon.
1.1 Why not do this for every unreleased/broken event?
(2) When is the next expansion?
(3) Why is there no FASHION in EVENT GOLD SHOP?
(4) Will there be server merge any time soon?

Remarkably, PWI used to lag behind PWCN by 4 to 6 months in terms of expansion delay. After the sale of PWE, this delay increased to 1 year. It would be interesting if they released two expansions at once to get back to the normal schedule.0

We gave up on having R9r3 for Apes. With a new update in 6-12 month PWI will add another class and it's gonna be ridiculous to have 2 classes without a proper R9. Also, it will be tricky to pull players to play the new class since there's no R9 for it and won't be.
Solution is easy but dev team seems too stubborn to do it and the most annoying part that they don't explain the reason - ADD original forge (Cauldron of Ascension) with possibility to craft R9r4 for Apes and a new upcoming class.0 -
there are people who uses auto questing trapped anywhere, how do they fix those cheaters and also those who uses skill senders.
people keep disconnecting despite having good specs of computer and good internet source. port DC is common also, how and hope they fix this.0 -
Was having an issue collecting the "Seal: Frozen River" On the guides, it says to go to "(203 974 ↑21) just above the water", I have tried being in the water and being as close to the surface as I can, flying and going as low as can, stop flying and land in the water and watch to see if any flashing scroll, and nothing, same with doing this slightly off the listed coordinates.
Can the run requirements for trials be reduced to say 100? A lot of guilds are struggling to manage 150 and are stuck on trial 1. I do know on release for China this was set at 200, so lowing it should be possible.
Chrono Hunt is also still broken on Dawnglory, as from what I know the window of time for it to open on our server the server it is hosted on is closed, and 200 to open it is too many. This has never worked for us, so any feedback on this would be epic.0 -

The single largest issue imho is the gold pricing… every other server gets 10’s of thousands of packs for $10 meanwhile we are out here spending $50 for 100 packs.
Gold needs to be increased to, at the very least, a 5 gold to 1 USD and be set to a static rate within regions.
There are still a good number of players abusing a VPN and Brazil to get 3 gold to 1 USD. Fix this…
Beside gold rates needing to be buffed.
Rental NPC’s are removed as well as dustfall ultimate artifact forges for legitimately no reason. There’s no reason all forges/NPC’s can’t be spawned in the game side by side by side.
Arena rewards need to be buffed to at least 10x. It is currently just about impossible to obtain g17 cape/ring mats on all servers unless you funnel coins to the people abusing it via alts.
Glyphs, infants and cosmos conduit mats need to become easier to obtain. Nearly every server has max cosmos conduits and lv10 glyphs easy to obtain. Max infants is somewhere around $20,000 USD I mean come on LOL.
Dailies need to either be removed or buffed 100 fold as it punishes new player instantly upon logging in for the first time ever. Bloods/passives need to be added outright to the cash shop like they are in PWBR and made cheap NOT the 100 Gold ($100 USD) price that it currently is. (Psst this doesn’t even get you caught up it’s just a tiny dent in the thousands of bloods you’ll need)
A new player needs to play about a full year to get caught up with any current player and until then they’ll be taking an absurd amount of damage due to the spirit system. Not to mention by the time the new player is semi close to being caught up a new patch drop’s permanently pushing them back yet again. Buffing dailies/daily rewards 100x should solve this issue entirely and push more players to give pwi a second chance.

The only other changes that I can personally think of besides the ones I listed above.
SERVER MERGE
Merging all servers into 1-2 servers needs to be done for the longevity of the game.
Twilight Temple and Etherblade
Dawnglory and Tideswell
Or all into 1 server with multiple events and TW time slots to allow multiple chances for players to participate.
The other option besides a server merge would be to allow all servers to share the Northern Realm server. You can even utilize the xTW server for this if you’d like just allow multiple servers to enter the same Northern Realm instance. Would at least motivate players to continue the permanent grind that appears to exist as the ONLY reason to gear currently is PLAYER VS PLAYER which doesn’t exist anymore on most servers.0 -
The only real thing we need for real and now more than ever is a SERVER MERGE , that will help in every aspect on the game , we gonna regain more ppl , pwi gonna have way more ppl charging again and gearing up , and yall gon a have a succesful game for at least another 5 years .
I understand it might be a complex process, but theres another options like sharing the nr server as well , yall alr do that with et and twilight server .
This should not be a request its a URGENT need at this point and i bet every single active player would agree with me .
We like this game but we need help from yall to keep it active and enjoyable , also would be nice if you all be honest with us and tell us why it cant be done or if it would be done in a near future , thats the only thing we expect , how much it cost i believe even us can donate money to make it possible or something but we need solutions instead of keep going like we are at the moment. I swear no gm or announcing in the last 5 years at least has said nothing about this server merge issue and its the most important thing to keep the game alive right now0 -

Rest questions doesn't really matter if you don't do anything about the activity of the remaining population.
We really want to have an answer if they are planning a server merge and if that answer is positive - when?

1.Price for gold is outdated
2.We need the forge to use Ultimate dustfall artifact as the item is useless but still making appearance in packs?????
3.Merge all servers into one (If something breaks easy to fix as a whole then doing it one by one)

1. Servers need to be merged for activity and longevity you have 1 or 2 servers that have a non-existent gold and gear market making it difficult for old player base let alone a new player. If cross server events are holding you back idk why. XTW has been worthless for months and dominated by one guild even if it wasn't there is no rewards system that encourages XTW activity for a player. TW is mostly ruled by 1 guild on each server and the only time it shifts is when guilds have dramas and people flock to another.
2. You should add the Chinese forges back in for the newer classes since you don't seem to be planning to put r9 in for the ape and the upcoming new class if you are worried about player abuse lock them down to new classes only if you must, but it seems silly to bring in new classes but not have gear supporting the progression of these new classes.
3. Moonlight crystals are impossible to come by on our server even if you're ready to absorb the cost of making G17 gear it will take months to have a semi functioning set and even longer to perfect it without this important component. Yes, we can farm them in TT but they are a rare drop My suggestion is to increase the weekly raffle rate and map reset frequency if possible, to allow more to circulate among the player base instead of one guild hoarding all of them and handing them out to their favorite cash shoppers!0 -
1. I dont really think server merging is possible for this company. The ping, latency would be atrocious for NA or EU(depending on the server location), it is old game, with many flaws, and we all know it is not the best thing for PvP, which is already pretty dead and with more players it could rise again. My question is.. What would be the response when this drops at the devs table. the problems, difficulty of this action, will someone finally informs us officialy why is it hard thing to do? It would be great for NA( they still got servers to merge... but for EU, we have our last chance cuz we can´t merge with anyone)
2. Can you make new content more often, is it money problem, that we need to buy every update from China and that is why it takes for so long?
3. This question is touching the second question. Why you don´t deliver more spends/promos/currency/new packs every 2/3 weeks? People are still supporting game.
3. Will there be reworked spend/charge rewards, new items added?
4. Dustfall Ultimate Artifact should be usable item, because it is trash right now, you open something with no value.
5. Make more value of gold per €/$. All items from shop are pretty expensive. To put it into perspective, new flyer(only one cosmetic) costs 36 gold, we are paying 36€ to fly on a new flyer. Why is it not possible to reform the gold purchasing?0 -
Would it be possible to put npc-price on faction fashion? If you by mistake double buy or buy for wrong gender, you could turn around and npc it, to buy the right ones instead.
Would it be possible to make a year blessing so we dont have to renew it every week?
Account stash is basicly useless now that everything is unable to be put in there, but that also means our bags and banks needs more space. Can the amount of slots be upgraded? so we can have more of the non-tradeable stuff laying around.
Are we gonna get a merge of servers? the amount of active players is dropping, and it would be better to keep the active in one server rather than in 4. Could set event times to 4x per day, so that everyone gets a shot at it. Can put a limit on once per day per character or account.0 -
If they do a full server merge, the server will be located in Europe.
Because our game host main headquarters is located in Amsterdam Holland.
I also dont think they make anything game related(coding, developing, etc..) here in gearbox, they just maintain the servers and order updates from PW.
And they are located in China, the more we ask the bigger the bill...0 -
The only things they can do for us is.
- Lower gold cost ( or more gold for the payment we make)
- More TW map swipes
- Trying to host more (working) events
- Recruit some GM's to do random giveaways or provide community fun
Dont think a server merge is easy for gearbox.
This can be to much to handle for them.0 -

Crack down on the 3rd party botting.
Merging servers would just have all the bot farmers fighting for w.e they running.
we would still lose population due to lack of end game content that is quick... nobody likes the LOOOOONG Grinds
ideally it would be more populated for a bit. but then would fade as people did with the last merge where we lost 1/2 or more within 6 months.
the gold/dollar ratio is reasonable, but also they should make MORE farmable in game instead of having to buy to get certain items IE g17 helms, or the mats to craft/reroll

More Events , quicker updates, merge ET/TT, TI/DA, increase drop rates as so doesn't take as long to farm gear. Having new instances , areas makes game stay fresh (need player base to do instances like CW that require players to work together to complete. Gold prices need to be adjusted to be more in line with other servers.0

Outdated rewards can lead to player fatigue and disinterest. By modernizing these rewards, the game can motivate players to continue participating, fostering a sense of progression and accomplishment.
Developing rewards for Cross Territory War (XTW) and reinstating Territory War (TW) season rewards are vital. These rewards can increase participation in these large-scale events, promoting healthy competition and strategic gameplay. Offering enticing rewards for successful participation will make these events more appealing and drive player engagement.
Attached is also a response from one of the GMs. To clarify, the last server merge was in 2015, not a year ago. Additionally, it's essential to have transparency about the game's future; that way, the community looks forward to playing the game.

The bots you are concerned for are one of the only things keeping the game alive.0 -
Suggestions from someone that is personally done playing the game due to the following:
1. Cost of Gold. Cost of gold is too high especially in relation to Chinas rates, there are things in the boutique that cost assortments amount of Gold that are not realistic for the overwhelming majority of the playerbase, especially when you have many items that CANNOT be farmed in the game by any means. Lowering gold cost would generate MORE money for PWI as it would be far more accessible by more people.
2. The game is unplayable (unfarmable) off 2x rates and because of this most people turn to solo farming, and even then the amount you receive doing things by yourself is extremely low - now imagine adding 10 people to that equation. Implement perma 2x as the server numbers are so low - or have the event more often. PWI does not lose money by doing this, it would incentivize more people to gear.
3. Server merge as most has said. For those concerned by ping - PWI has **** ping anyway in general already. Just merge ET/TT and TI/DA. TI and DA already share a cross server together.
4. Speed early game progression. They recently implemented something to speed this up a bit but its still not enough. Possible ideas for speeded progression: Make the vitea/exp buff up until a certain sky level, preferably at least shifting X or just longer in general. If you can't implement that, at least try to give more events that would increase the progression. Give options to automatically gain things like 300,000 reputation through some sort of quest or event.
5. Implement territory war seasons again.
6. CHEAPER or better charge/spend promotions. Spending 300 or 1.1k on a Nuema Portal card is still too much. This game is not worth spending that much cash on anymore for the lack of content.
7. Give us GMs that have knowledge of the game or play the game. We all know when we ticket a GM we are lucky they know any basics of the game. This makes it impossible to get most issues resolved. If you craft the incorrect item, or accidently mess something up - good luck getting it fixed these days even if it cost you thousands of dollars.0 -
