Icebound underworld gear

So i crafted a G15 helm using the 140 thingies you get from IU but it say it's bound; does anybody know if upgrading it to g16 stays bound or becomes tradeable much like the tome "glitch"?

    Based on the way other armor pieces are treated if you craft from the TT path (which ends up bound), I'd assume that upgrading to g16 would make it stay bound. I've never personally upgraded from the IU path so I'm not 100% sure on this.
