    No offense taken, I can see why some would think that since the forums are inactive nowadays. There's not a lot of people on the mod team for this game so having backups is always good. Part of being a mod is not just about actual moderating of posts but things like organization as well. There's a lot of stickied threads on sections of forums that are outdated or the subjects don't exist in the game anymore, for example.

    I also manage a lot of stuff wiki-side including expansion content, and usually I have to go through a mod to send over patch notes but now that step can potentially be skipped so players can receive patch notes faster. Though, it'd be preferable if the staff would actually post the patch notes instead since I'm just a regular player translating other versions' patch notes.

    Forum mods aren't staff members but player volunteers, so I don't have information on this sadly. Believe me I want the TW season to end as well :p from what I know there are some delays due to the pandemic going on but that's all the info I have.
