How are new players or returning players with wiped accounts who used to be Free-2-Play suppose to survive in the game and efficiently build or compete with the Pay-by-Choice players since you implemented this new Gold/Silver Coin currency system ?

I mean from what I've read even ye Old Jolly Jones gives silver coins only as a reward now and there's currently no method in place to convert Silver Coins into Gold ones (except for the 48hrs grace period granted to Returning Players providing they have a pre-existing toon capable of earning Silver Coins on that account).

Not every F2P or N2P player chooses to make a class that could solo farm or multiple characters on their account to me it seems as though the gap has widen so big you either quit or invest a lot effort just to enjoy and keep up with the rest of the player base ( yes I understand that those who have been playing a while now and are heavy Csers would and will always have some level of advantage over a F2P/N2P player but it just so seems ridiculous at this point that playing the game is more of a chore than a recreative activity).

It just seems like with the implementation of this new Currency System an age old MMO in game business practice has been killed which is - F2P/N2P players buy stuff off Csers who in turn spend more money in order to Restock their Cat Shops (I highly doubt one Cser buys stuff from another as often as a N2P/F2P player would)

Sad it is indeed to see with every new adjustment PWE has made to game it's always the N2P/F2P playing population who seems to be impacted the most yet your Accounting Department wonders why their revenue figures continue to drop in their games' lifespan...

A few personal suggestions that might actually revive back the player base in the game : -

1) Allows players to convert their Silver Coins into Gold Coins at least once per day at a higher ratio of exchange

2) Bring back the Silver Coin value of Loot and DQ drops as well as a DQ points reward NPC (yes I know the botters would have a field day but only allow them to auto bot at 1hr intervals for a total period of 4hrs per day)

3) Make all your servers full PVP but only allow PKing on the open map not in instances and towns as well a Bag and Gear Lock feature so players who get killed on the open map can protect themselves only loosing exp (Instances like FC, Phoenix Valley, Nirvana and Delta could be run with Hyper Stones for Exp once more)

4) Make player specific Instance Bosses Loot Bags/Chest ( this way each member in a squad collects a reward after the Boss dies so no need to KS your entire team and steal every drop - when the player right clicks his/her own Loot Bag/Chest they get Silver Coins and 1-5 random Sellable Drops)

5) Create a Bidding Hall Instance where the Npc at the enterance charges a fee in Gold Coins to take part and only a maximum of 25 players can enter the Bidding Hall where at a specific time the Auctioneer Npc at 5mins intervals auctions off Cash Shop Items and Rare Loot Items to the bidders for 1hr twice per day at set controlled prices (this would help prevent Csers/Catshops/Farmers from selling their stuff at overpriced prices). Also within the Bidding Hall have another Npc which exchanges a certain amount of Boutique Gold for Gold Coins at a controlled rate )

6) Bring back your events even on a Daily or Weekly basis this game had so much event content over the years that was taken away from it ( Acho Assault, Trivia, Celestial Tigers just to name a few) give players options other than just logging to sit in towns because there's nothing to do

While I don't disagree with you, keep in mind that our content comes from China (Wanmei) not PWE. This new currency system was created to combat China's heavy botting and unfortunately we just get whatever China gets. Though I wish they had at least restored the value of drops since they were originally nerfed due to botting.

This has been an on-going problem for many years. PWE doesn't have developers. China doesn't balance updates for our PWI-specific problems and most of all, we haven't had a CM for along time to at least communicate some of our problems to China and hope for a possible fix. Look at Dragons' Conquest; dragon rushes won't stop until China decides their version has a problem because I guess nobody from PWE will bother informing the developers. If a dragon rush problem never arises in China, well, sucks to be PWI I guess.

We're literally at the mercy of whatever the Chinese version gets. It sucks, but you either accept the game for that it is or you quit.

That's sad indeed to hear because the MMO I left when I first started PWI years ago had an original Chinese Version , as well as an European and US version each one was adapted to keeping their player bases happy despite having more or less the same game play content released at the same time during my times of game play on their, Although presently their European and US versions have closed over time their Chinese and Mobile Versions are still heavily populated to this day , We also had so much options back then and even now whether it was Questing, Guild Stuff, Pking, Doing Events daily or simply Upgrading Crafting Skills , Farming Loot or Helping Lowbies - you know the good old days when your MMO was place you wanted to login and be with friends and didn't mind spending your money on...perhaps that era of online gaming is truly lost

The chinese servers have heavy botting and will continue to have it in some form or another. That is because unlike us, the chinese player 'grinds' for his coin, and the easiest way to do that is by...botting. And every time the chinese dev's adapt their game, it affect us, who don't have that kind of problem. At least not in those kind of numbers.

chinese player : "I need coin, oh, let's bot." <--grind.
western player : "I need coin, oh, here's my creditcard."<--instant gratification.

And there you have it in a nutshell.
