Regardless of people complaints, I think PWI doesn't actually have a bad player base TBH.
Of course it used to have a larger player base, however, i also do not know that this = a dead game. I think player base fluctuations are a way of life im any mmo.
To get back on topic: no, there's no need to know how many people on each server are active. Just check Archosaur. See people standing there and don't do anything (except for getting exp)? They are NOT active and will not help anyone. See people on world chat? Most of the time they will only qq. Just check your server or move on to an other one if you can'r get help or stick on your current server and use a large amount of money to get a good feeling in this game. But before you spend anything you need to read Terms of Service.
