Rough Astral Diamonds Boost

I know this was implemented quite awhile ago but, as a casual player, all I thought about it was that you no longer could accumulate astral diamonds by doing the invocations. While playing yesterday I asked another player if they knew what the "boost" was all about. They did not. Could someone fill me in on what happens "boost-wise"?

    Well, I thought I was posting on the Neverwinter PC General Discussion part of the forums. But, if you have no idea of what I am talking about I guess I did not do that. When I logged in I got a "congratulations" for being promoted to an Arc User. So, I guess I will have to pay more attention to where I am posting now because the Arc Forums do not contain any of my previous post. Sorry to have bothered you. :)
