Is this game worth coming back to if I can spend money on it?

As the title asks, I can spend atleast 200$ every month for now and maybe more in the future, but that's not the main point...
I wanna know if it is worth doing so, this game was my entire teenage-hood, from 12 to 18 years old (and now im much more older), I still love this game and the only reason I quit was because I got a mad over how badly I spent my gold when I charged over 300$ and wasted it on ****, ending up by selling mogs to shops and rage quit lel.
This question is mainly aimed to people who also spend regularly or ones who managed to somehow achieve great gear, because you guys know whats best.
I wanna come back to it but I don't know if I should.

    Think you first need to read the News just to see where you can spend money on. It's not only to archive great gear, the newest mounts, flyers, outfits etc. but there's also something like having fun. Even people who don't spend money can make in-game money but you soon should discover they don't go to 'our' AFK spots except for Realm of Reality or simply log off if they're done for the day.

    In the end, the decision is only yours. Maybe hop into the game and play for free for a while, then you might figure out if you want to spend that much or not
