Will PWI reset the map again then for TW and xTW?

They've stated it will start on the 22nd. By then factions will already have land / points advantage over others.

    I don't think they'll be resetting it again. They did a similar thing with the last season as well according to this news post. You can also see the reason they provided in that scenario:
    TW map has been wiped, but season will not officially start until 1/31/2018 @ 00:00 PT. This will allow additional time for users to claim lands to trigger Resource Wars before the season officially starts.

    As for xTW, the season usually starts some weeks after map reset for factions to meet qualifications and such, though to be fair it could have started slightly earlier.

    That didn't matter much tho as RW wasn't active on Et when the previous season started. A faction forgot to bid on a city so it was unclaimed for another week, thus RW couldn't trigger.

    Shame the xTW time still clashes with TW time on Da server though.
