Why cant i log into my account since the pwi wonderland update?

Ive had a few people have the same problem now.

If your using Steam Version of PWI you must download the ARC version before you can play PWI. ARC has some sorta Code injection into PWI that allows the connection to the server.

Did you uninstall PWI?

What errors are you getting.

Can you log into ARC?

All I can suggest is ti verify files.

Their are a few things that can cause it.

I have run into the same problem since I had installed Wonderland. Everything happens the same at me, too: system requirements met, I can log into Arc without problem, verification process is okay, I hit Play, choose a server, choose a character, hit Start, I even see the "Entering Perfect World" screen then client black out and exits to desktop without any error message or something.

I have also tried to download and reinstall via Arc setup, updated my OS and everything I could, closed all foreground and background running programs except system services, added exception to anti-virus and even turned off my anti-virus, tried several graphical settings, but nothing helped.

I have already contacted the tech support with all my logs from element/logs, but until now they can't really help beside those ideas I have already tried.

When I look into the logs, I see "file not found" error messages, and those referred files really don't exist at the specified paths, but I can't get them even after verification. I even see a "not enough temporary memory" message, however, I start the game with 10 GB free RAM. So I really don't know what's going on there, really frustrating. I had no such problem with the previous versions of PWI.

If anyone could solve this problem, please, share his/her solution for us to try. Thanks.

That is exactly what happened to me when I tried to log in without Arc. Here are some other issues that could cause it as it happens to me.

I don't know what your a-hole idiot devs have done with ARC, all I know is what it has done to me. I CAN NOT even launch Arc in my Windows XP anymore because it requires "GetTickCount64" contained within kernel32.dll and XP only has "GetTickCount" with no way to upgrade it. I spent 3 days searching the web and trying different downloads of kernel32.dll including those within Service Packs on a freshly/new install of Windows XP. ARC WILL NOT EVEN LAUNCH.

So I run PWI on my newly installed Windows 7 system. For the third week row now, PWI crashes when in Territory Wars. I CAN NOT log back in. Today it took over 35 minutes, because the server WILL NOT release my account. Each attempt is met with "This account is currently logged in". I will give PWI 1 more week to undo or fix the ARC problems. If I crash again in Territory Wars and I get server locked for the fourth time I'm done with it and YOU LOSE an 8 year well geared player from this BS. I won't just leave but I will delete every character I have to make sure I never return to PWI and have already done that on other PWE games after warning people of the BS that PWE will eventually pull on them.

This happen to me as well. I ended going into my STEAM account and unistalling PWI. Then I unistalled ARC and deleted any PWI files that were on my computer. After reinstalling ARC and PWI it finally worked, I hope this helps you.

this is happening to me, as well. i played the game just fine only four days ago, but now i try to launch PWI directly from the ARC client, but it keeps taking me to the login screen, where i try to log in, and it just... sits there, telling me to wait, and then it says i'm disconnected. i have no earthly idea what is causing this.

EDIT: my bad, found the Server Maintenance announcement. not sure why it's in General Discussion instead of Official Announcements, though.

If you play on the DA server the server had issues that have now to a point been resolved.
