Returning From Hiatus - Raging Tide to Tideswell

Can't remember exactly how long it has been since I left probably between 1-2 years. I was on RT as a couple of my toon names reminded me with that tacked to the end of my name. I have a 73 ARcher and I just leveled to 40 each a Wizard and a Duskblade to get a feel for the game again. I am not a rush to 100+ end game player, never have been in any game, probably never will be. I enjoy leveling, questing, exploring, crafting, grinding for drops, playing auction houses, helping low levels etc. So any help hurrying to EG is not what I am looking for.

Just a couple of general questions:

1) I would like to know if there are still casual players, leveling up new toons, and guilds that enjoy that type of player? I heard mention in game of checking out a guild called Celestials. I am playing on the Tideswell Server being an east coast USA person.

2) Do the Dreamchaser packs not include Duskblade or Stormbringer weapon tickets?
3) Do merchants sell DB/SB weps? Can I make them with Blacksmithing skill? I only see weapons up through Tideborn......

    1) Celestials is a good faction - I have a couple of toons there. Very helpful and fun people. Yes there are casual players, although not as many as I'd like.

    2) No - dreamchaser packs don't include DB or SB weps. However, the quest chains do give you the opportunity to get those weapons. Look for the info in the quest description. for example, Yanshing the Barbarian (quest in the 20's) will reward you with lvl 30 wep; killing Chin in the 30's (angler's village quest from soldier feng) will reward you with the lvl 40 wep. Same with gear - if you don't have the dreamchaser pack you can get the gear through the quests. Just do these first so you don't outlevel them. When you get to 50 or so, have someone run you through quicksand maze (QSM) for the lvl 55 gear sets; again at lvl 70 and 85. These sets include slaying and warding lvls which is good in pve. They are very good alternatives to TT sets at these levels.

    3) Yes - but I think this is only in Dawnglory maybe? I believe this is the only place to craft those weapons. Honestly, you're better off with the dreamchaser versions you get from quests and quicksand maze. You can't buy or craft versions that are as strong. You can also get rings and necklaces or some of this gear from bosses in bh29 and bh39.

    You may find this Gear Progression page useful. It doesn't include the royal gear you can farm in FB dungeons and from other boss quests because I haven't leveled a new character in a long time, however it should still contain some useful information. In general, Quicksand Maze gear is the best gear you can get starting at level 55. It has better stats and set bonuses than most other gear options at each respective level range.​​

    Thanks for the responses. I got the 30 wep from Yanshing and will run out to Anglers now for the 40 ....so I was moving in the right direction. Been using the DC pack LA so that's been good enough. NB is a bit OP so I can solo most standard stuff and lower dungeons to a point. I will try a WC for a Celestial invite if anyone is online next time I am IG.
