Dear All,
8 years ..., Its so long time and we have done so much things together. I cannot highlight only one moment or only one story cause every years, every weeks, days and moments were specific with my faction, with Hungaria.
This small Hungarian community has been made 4 years ago and all the dedicated members kept it strong and convergent.
We leveled up and played together, we did all instances, we survived all the laggs by drinking Palinka (National Hungarian Fire--water) :P , and discovered every secret corners of this perfect world. We made friends,we found love, and became a proper virtual family.
However, beside common playing we never forget the most important thing: Enjoying the gift of "To be a true faction".
This is our story, the story of Hungaria.

My story is 'unusual' as I was invited to PWI, and shortly after abandoned for the rest of my playing existence. I kept on playing and doing what I do, and soon I worked for my flyer. A Kirin.
"The appearance of a Kirin signifies the arrival or passing of an important figure. They shall welcome their arrival with gladness and upon their passing, they shall bare one last gift to them before their departure."
For me this held true, as I did not quite know what I was doing, I soon met a Faction who allowed me to join. (temporarily) I stayed with them for a month and a half, before I had to go out on my own. Although grieved with my choice to leave them, I did bare them one last gift of kindness before I left out on my own.

Here's a story about how I started out on PWI:
It's launch day, I see this game. I decided to try it.
I download it with the **** internet I had back then because really GOTTA GO FEST internet wasn't a thing back then.
I load it up, I decide to create an archer.
I spend some time customizing the **** out of the archer, and then begin to play.
I can't bother with all these quests, uninstall.
Few years later I returned and made a wizard, was fun to annoy the hell out of some barb because he couldn't get to me.
Then rolled a sin.
Skip a few years later, it's r9rr with decent stuff.
Then I stopped playing because I don't have time to grind every single day to keep up.

i have a lot of fond memory's from this game, its hard to just pick one specific one. but i still remember when i first joined this game and building my character completely wrong and going through the joy of remaking and deleting my character. i remember tanking my first bh's and healing for fb/bh. i remember the first time it snowed in arch and being excited to kill snowmen and i remember celebrating my first anniversary with PWI, getting rewards and feeling excited for the next anniversary for the better rewards and mount. i remember doing my first zhen squad and fc heads room "i know its not there anymore, but those were actually extremely fun and very fond memory's doing that" i still remember when earthguards launched and the whole starter area overrunning with seekers and mystics. i remember going to my first wedding and not knowing what it was or what to do, i just did what everyone else was doing :P. i remember when everything was super cheap and buying 1 gold was 1mil and having the older players telling me that gold used to be like 50k or something like that. i still remember giving advice to new players and helping them out, because i was in there shoes at one point. still remember doing events, my first NW, first duels. PWI has given me plenty of fond memory's over the 7 years i have been playing and congratulations to 8 years PWE, i really look forward to many more.0

So..my most epic memory must be at the time where bh69 was ultimately hard for people..needed it so we went in there with a random squad..at those time as a cleric i always tried tanking stuff (weird, i know) so basically me tanking the boss another cleric was healing me from behind and some other medic (can't remember the class properly) was actually healing the healer cleric..basically we were noobs xD but killed the bosses still xD that epic tactic was one of my best memories in PWI Natalisia_/DawngloryPost edited by gokceerer1 on0

Name: SpelllStormer
Server: Dawnglory
https://youtube.com/watch?v=3r6pBqmanH4
Prelude:
As with any other game, the first weeks are magical.
I was brought in here by some friends (anisia and masterovi). Being the maniac that I was at that time, I reserved the luxury to read ALL class tutorials and forum knowledge to select the class I like most. In spite of all friendly (and in the end...pro) advices telling me to go sin for better farm ability, I decided to roll a psy (2010 if my mind still helps). I liked the concept of having to struggle till the very end game when you would shine the most, and I knew I would be playing the game for the long run. And a painful struggle it would prove to be (in lack of power levelling)!
Memory:
So there I was, a newly born tideborn, sent out in the harsh world. I remember the exilaration I used to have whenever I leveled. I was counting percentages, I was counting experience per mob and how many mobs and quests I would need to get that extra level. I always always had this melody on, and would play the game 10 hours per day doing all the crazy weird shizz a beginner would do. Try to kill mobs who are way too strong for you, end up running for your life to the water, and finding out that the water is not that safe either . Or trying to go up a cliff and not being able to, seing how the mobs still hits you like a freak . Thinking all the way that sin would of been so much better, but that you have to make it with your psy.
Just imagine yourself, a squishy as **** psy struggling for your god damned life in between several mobs who 2-3 shot your squishy as..s.. Mind the music
Prologue:
Unfortunately, after getting past level 30, I never had the same rush I was feeling before that point. It all kind of changed when things settled down and I saw that gear upgrades are much harder to make that one would expect. I then stopped being interested in quest stories. I am proud I did not cash a single coin up to level 90 and kind of managed to get gears for that level the very extremely hard solo way. I would not be a part of any faction till lvl 99 or 100 I think, after a full 12 months of playing.
All things aside, the first year of playing was by far the most fun I ever had in any game so far.
I first joined a faction that would soon disband: Afterlife. Went to Valhalla for a brief time, then moved to Crimson and stayed several years. I think it was Crimson where I made r9. After server merge (during which Crimson died), moved to Mayhem, now ended up in Crisis. Last three factions have one single thing in common, I'll let you guess which .
And because things rarely change, I might aswell sum everything up to one thing that I never stopped asking myself, from day 1: Why did i not roll a sin to start with?Post edited by magiceffect onDawnglory - SpellStormer (105 x 3): http://mypers.pw/10/#4359480 -
Well... I have a lot of fond memories of PWI, especially my early days. I did many things that others have brought up (like my first alt character, a cleric, who i statted just like my seeker with dex... LOL) But of all of the silly things I did I love the memories of doing silly things with my friends the most. The more random the better. We once pulled all bosses in Warsong to the middle and tried to kill all five of them all at once (This was before RB so it didnt go so well!) We also would race each other in FCC runs when that was a thing But probably my favorite memory ever was accomplishing the impossible... We all got together and decided we would kill that which has never been killed in PWI before.... The most OP boss in all of the land... The one who all have always agreed cannot die... I bring to you, The Death of the Warsong Head:

Past 8 years have been a roller coaster. Met a whole variety of unique people, some stayed as friends, some became rivals. Watched people grow and mature but also have seen others whose journey have ended (RIP to them). Was in first faction to win TW on Archosaur (Mainly Polish guild called Ravenz), First ET Nation Wars Commander to come Second place whilst next to DA not opposite. Killed every mob and boss in the game at least once (if there was a checker I could verify this). Best memory though is meeting my current partner in game 2 years ago. Recently moved to her country and living together. (The one thing in the game I didn't need to cash shop xD)
On a side note as a guy with mild Aspergers Syndrome and a bad childhood, this game also really helped with my social anxieties due to the popularity of the game meaning I had to talk to others to progress with level and equipment etc at the beginning. Wouldn't be so much now though as you can buy help to level up etc. Most people in the game know this about me and so I have found myself helping others who were in the same situation I was in so sometimes playing the game gives me a feel good factor seeing them online and doing well.IeIantos - GoldDigrz0 -
I started PWI around 2011. My first toon was a seeker, then I switched to an assassin (because I screwed up the stats for my first toon). For me, one of the best memories was probably the excitement of leveling up to get new gears from the NPC and earning coins from killing mobs. Getting my first pickaxe item felt like an accomplishment. My first 1 million coins from Jolly Old Jones daily made me feel like I was so rich. Running FC instance with different people, making friends and then you have those other angry players who shout at you because you're not doing things right. There really isn't one exact moment that I feel is the best memory I have in PWI because I have a lot of good times in PWI thanks to friends, many other great players I met.. and also the angry players. What I feel is the best memory for me is goofing around and making jokes with friends while doing ingame activities and farming our Rank 9 gears. My PWI experience is pretty simple, and I am sure many of you have a better story to tell.

Starting out on PWI i had a few goals, meet great people, have fun and be the best i can be. I wanted to break limits, challenge my little character and as time went on i looked for the hardest thing my character could possibly solo which was the bosses in Flowsilver Palace (judgement mode)
No one had done it before and after many fails and months of working on my character, i finally did it...
My best memory was achieving one of my biggest goals in game, something i never thought was possible at the time.

My favorite moment was in 2012 on Raging Tides server. QQme was the top faction for a long time and had a leadership change. Spell_Caster (spellcastro) took over and the faction started to have mega drama and as a result, many of their better geared players went to a faction named Zoo. Zoo created a recruitment video starring Spell_Caster. This was a start to a much more fun server.

There are plenty of memories, good and bad, for me with this game. I`ll share my latest one I think I`ll remember for a while.
Its a dark stormy night - just kidding. There was nothing extraordinary in yesterday other than the fact I got so damn lucky. But to give you a backstory, I had not rolled a decent star chart over the time I been playing. The chart I had was 5 stats, no spirit, mostly defensive stats. In short it was terrible and after listening to banter bout it for couple of months, I finally decided to invest 150 gold on nebula dust sale to get my Astral level to 5 as I have been stockpiling the ones, which dont give xp from JFSP for a while now. I burned maybe 200 dusts before something I didnt think was possible, I rolled a chart I had dreamed of for a good while. http://prntscr.com/cl8rns
It didnt come out just like that, I used 16 starseeker powders to get stats as I wanted, which was pretty low number too. Now I am left with 500+ Nebula dusts I dont know what to do with. The odds to roll better one might not even exist as they are that low even at Astral energy 5 and using them myself just feels like a complete waste. Either way I will remember yesterday for a good while, my dreams of 80k physical attack have taken turn to the positive for a change .0 -
Wow there are so many memories I could choose from.
There's the ones from my newbie days on the then Lost City server. The pk, the drama, the trolling, the friends, the freinemies, the enemies, the TW's ...you get the idea. Fun times, great people and a lot of laughs.
The best one from these days, was when I made the mistake of not locking my computer while I did some housework and my then 4 year old took my veno pking. Come back to find her not only killing the person she was fighting but on vent as well. Kids!!!! All she had to say for herself is, "Look mommy I killing the bad guy." Thank pangu for guardian scrolls and bound gear. Oh boy I didn't hear the end of that for months. Considering the fact that she was pretty much face rolling and way better at pking than I was at the time.
Then the move to Heaven's Tear. Found some old friends from my Lost City days. Made new friends. Made new enemies. Got into a faction that I now consider my home (mind you after leaving a few times due to drama).
My favorite memory for this chapter of my PWI days is going to NW with my sister from across the pond. OMG! We had to have our own RaidCall channel just for NW. We were/are that bad. Then you add our little midwest brothers to the mix oh boy.

I read most of the stories and while people have many funny, sentimental and silly stories mine I truest felt was the fondest memory anyone from HL would know.
The day the primal World boss was first discovered. Nobody knew what this guy had just the big baddie required a entire faction element to vanquish him in a reasonable amount of time. High contending factions from all over came to see what he dropped if I recall I was in Dark at the time. Some key contenders I remember there were, Infamous,Crimson, Dark, Bankai and a few others all fighting each other stealing aggro, and resetting it to see what loot he had. I remember I came home from work booted up the game immediately got messages come to primal 4 hour PK GO GO GO. I showed up to what looked like total chaos. I barely knew who was friend or foe all I know is at the time I had the time of my life. If I recall Dark won it for the first time and hell it wasn't until the 3rd week I knew what this was about all I knew was this was mass pvp on a fun scale of over 9000!!! Now it's just rolled by a squad of 10 oh the good days105/105/105 Seeking ScallyMode

Title: The Nightmare of Delirum
(One for all the oldest players!) - 991 words!
It all started 5 years ago, where obtaining level 100 was just a myth. Players would gather on the Archosaur platform next to the Bounty Hunter NPC, looking to form a squad to run their daily BHs. After minutes of waiting finally a squad of four members was formed to complete BH39. These members were oblivious to what would await them for their first time run of this new dungeon. They were all used to doing BH29 for their daily quest and with good reason expected BH39 wouldn’t be that much more difficult. But what was about to happen would change the rest of their lives.
The brave squad of four consisted of Brian the Untamed Barbarian, Archie the Winged Elf Archer, Vanessa the Untamed Venomancer, and lastly Matt the Earthguard Mystic. As they were teleported into the dungeon, it was a drastic change from what they were used to. The place was very dark, only illuminated eerily by the red glow of lava and torches along the way. The path was long and confusing, they knew they had to travel carefully as a group to overcome the atrocious monsters hidden within. The mobs were taken down without much trouble except for the powerful poison that would inflict heavy damage over time on heavy armor classes such as the Barbarian. Matt was forced to always be on his toes with supportive heals in order to keep the ignorant Barbarian Brian alive who was unaware of what was killing him. After a long journey they finally arrived at the first boss. It took the group awhile to see him but he was “Farren Sereneti” hiding in a group with additional mobs in the end of one room.
Vanessa suggested that they must pull each mob away first in order to leave Farren by itself and taken down last. However Archie was unaware of the term “pulling” and then proceeded to attack the first mob with his bow. Suddenly, time seemed to have slowed down tremendously. As Archie’s arrow flew towards one of the mobs of Farren, the hearts of Vanessa and Matt took a torpedo and sank. Right as the arrow landed on the mob, the mobs and Farren all turned around in unison and ran furiously towards Archie. At this moment, Archie knew he done effed up, as all the mobs hit him down to 30 percent health immediately, he ran towards his teammates with fear filled in his eyes. This was Archie’s second mistake, running towards his teammates for help would only put them further in danger of Farren’s AOE ability. Less than a minute passed and there were already four members dead on the floor.
Luckily, Matt had placed resurrect buffs on every member so they were able to revive. Unfortunately, Brian who had tried to help save Archie earlier from dying was now too close the mobs and instantly took aggroed and died upon reviving. The squad had to wait for Brian to respawn at town and make his way back into the cave. The path was long and now Brian was alone, he did not remember the path they had previous taken so he accidentally ran the detour path and brought along many friends with him. Brian didn’t make it.
Upon the second respawn at town, Matt was great at reading maps and was an angel; he went back to guide Brian. Several minutes later they finally ended up as four living members ready to take a second shot at Farren. This time, there were able to wipe out all of the mobs by pulling with Vanessa’s pets and Brian’s Genie’s Earthflame ability. The fight was tough, Matt had to make sure Brian was healed well. About halfway done with Farren, his aggro switched over to Archie who was dealing a considerable amount of damage. This started Farren’s AOE ranged ability once again, Archie ran as soon as he was hit hard by Farren’s ability. Everyone in the group took a hard hit except for Brian who is HA geared. Brian reacted quickly to grab aggro back to himself, which halted the continuous ranged AOEs. Archie did not attacked Farren again until it died by the rest of the squad, he was instilled with fear and ashamed in front of the other members.
Over an hour had passed and now the squad was making its way to the next boss and now strange new mobs were encountered. The mobs had new abilities such as to silence, caused burn DOTs, and ultimately explode upon death. Poor Brian was fried and resurrected multiple times due to having low magical defense. They soon figured out to slow kill one mob at a time so Matt could heal them in time before the follow up damage came from other mobs. Until they finally arrived at “Calcid of the Flame.”
This boss looked like an angel compared to the Demonic Farren Sereneti. Without anyone dying, the group took down Calcid easily because Archie and Vanessa knew by this time to let Brian or Vanessa’s pet to tank and take agro by not attacking too frequently. Soon after, the path led quickly to “Hercule Trioc,” the last boss of the dungeon. Since this was the very last boss, they all assumed it to be even scarier than Farren. But nope, except for some magical damage that Matt could heal, both the last bosses mobs and boss were easily disposed of by the group.
A great sense of accomplishment came to them as they completed the dungeon. The run only took the group 2 hours to do since it was longer than expected and there were some brief occasions of AFK in between. At the end they all pondered why would the game developers make a dungeon like this? It was a long dungeon and the hardest boss was actually the first boss…

My story is nothing special. For as long as i can remember I’ve played alone. I’ve joined factions but most were pretty... well lest just say they weren’t full of nice people. In fact most guilds I’ve been in, I always ended up leaving due to that fact ... in till this year. I was thinking of leaving PWI when i saw a LoveHearts recruiter, we talked... and I joined, thinking I’d leave with in a few days. But no I stayed, everyone is so nice and caring. There always fun to be with and they helped me with quests I’ve given up on in the past. LoveHearts made PWI fun for me again. I well always, always cherish the day I joined them. The day they made me feel like I was part of a crazy caring family. Thank you LoveHearts!0

Hi all, Im MagoOZ and I play in Twilight Temple server.
One of my best memorys in perfect world is in Voluntad, an small latin faction, we were a big family whit a lot of players in the same lvl range so we did everything togheter and become very good friends.
One day in April, 2013 we decide to pay a big room in frost, just another frost that we pay for whit players in my fact to lvl up a little bit, but after the heads in the big room, we decided to explore the cave, didnt know why, just exploring and having fun, but the thing is that we find some bosses and start to fight against them just to see what happen, one of them is Hoolen, Champion of Fientazzar, for a couple of noobs like us it was a big challenge, that boss doesnt have lvl is really big and scary, I cant explain the feeling when we finally beat that boss after like 15 or 20 minutes fighting, it was a very good moment, got a lot of good memorys but that one is especial for me xD
I rescue an screenshot from the faction facebook page:
https://web.facebook.com/100495370135266/photos/a.124160674435402.1073741825.100495370135266/135387279979408/?type=3&theater
Sadly the fac doesnt exist anymore, but some of the player in that squad still play and we are good friends since then.

Currently: Ruzh/\, level 84 veno on Twilight Temple
At the time, I was on Raging Tides as a cleric named Zarora.
Back when I didn't know what the heck I was doing, I made a cleric and decided I would try and make her my main. Unfortunately, I was really stupid and got her stats all messed up, and couldn't afford a reset. So, she quickly became my "goof off" character. Since her stats were all messed up, she was rarely, if ever, invited to squads for FBs/BHs, so she stopped leveling quickly (if at all.) And since I didn't join squads, I didn't make friends. Since I didn't make friends, I had all but stopped playing.
Until one day, when I was added to a squad for a BH run. And when I admitted that my cleric was built incorrectly, that it wasn't how it should be built, they didn't flip on me. They adjusted, and we cleared the BH in almost no time. Afterwards, a few members of the squad friended me and said they'd play with me to help me level and rebalance my character.
I figured "yeah right, they'll ditch me." But they didn't. One of the friends, a psychic by the name of somberone, because what I considered my best friend in game. When he saw me online, he would immediately whisper me, and we would squad up (sometimes, his girlfriend would come along too.) I know PWI isn't meant as a roleplaying game, but we had gotten bored one day (by now I had totally given up on my cleric, and on Raging Tides as a server itself, switching over to Lost City) and we flew out to Nameless Isle. Since I was (and am still) a writer at the time, I had come up with all these backstories for my characters. My story for Zarora was that she had been taken from her home by one of the Mysterious People at a young age and, for lack of a better term, "poisoned" by the presence of Shen Fu, The Bloodlusted. As a result, she'd become murderous. Somber played along as someone who had stumbled across the little town and found her, rescuing her from captivity even though she tried numerous times to kill him. And we played this out- he bought me bat wings to fit my “dark” side, and I would switch them out with my regular wings when the story called for it. Unfortunately, he doesn’t play anymore, and although we added each other on Facebook, I never see him online.
Somber wasn’t the only friend I made thanks to the game. I met an assassin by the name of TideKakashi in a similar fashion. Got added to a squad, most of them ditched me except for one who I felt I could vent my frustrations about my current guild to. At the time, my guilt required you pay a weekly fee or be kicked out, and due to me being absolutely terrified of abandonment, I went along with it. He convinced me to leave the faction and go to his, a much more friendly one. Him and I become really good friends after a few quests, but then he too disappeared off the face of the planet. I at least know he’s doing well, since we are still friends on Facebook and he posts almost daily.
So yeah, I made two really good friends thanks to this game, And now that I’ve thrown myself back into it, I’ve found a faction and friends (and am managing to bring other people in), and hopefully I’ll manage to find more people to befriend.
Thanks for reading this conglomeration of ****. Happy 8 years, PWI ^_^

I'm not going to participate, it's impossible to narrow it down to one memory, but they are all with the few great friends I met on PWI over the past 8 years... Whom I've travelled to Washington, Texas and India to meet in person so far. I just want to express that the game has brought me a lot of joy. Happy anniversary. ^^

One of my favorite memories of pwi would have been from a few years ago. Back then SoT was a big deal to run, not like how its a weekly anymore. So as for helping someone get there culti done in faction we ran SoT. As we all were nubs we followed directions form other veteran players. You know the players who have done this so many times its cake walk.
We neared one of the bosses with the tower spawn near him. The veteran is giving orders via vent. All the squad hears is "barb pull the tower". We all start lol'n an trying to question the orders. While the veteran keeps yelling "pull the tower". So with out fail the barb runs in to pull the tower. The veteran knows best in SoT, the tower >< causing massive freeze stuns the barb who in turn now has the boss on him. Then in panic the rest of squad runs in to save the barb. With in moments the squad is wiped.
All laying there dead waiting for the next attempt to complete the boss. You cannt pull towers ever in game we say. The barbs remark was "I thought maybe SoT towers are different than outside towers. They said pull so i followed orders". And the veteran didn't say a word for some time. XD this is my favorite memory because of how badly one persons i know what i am doing advice has gotten us.

My favorite memory has to be about 2 years ago when i became seriously ill. I was going through a real tough time with health and these guys stayed up with me for hours while I was in the hospital for days. (Shidoshi, xBretx, ix_hawk_xi, lushess, _Cassie_, Kegorator, Thunder_Fist). They were in TeamSpeak/Raidcall and on game with me. All I could do was be on the computer because I was stuck in the hospital. My friends never let me be alone through the whole experience.
We did some silly things and had so much fun. So many good laughs. Even now, though we are all busy IRL, we still manage to stay friends, have some laughs and they even check up on me! Love you guys. #teaminsu

I remember one time, I put in a ticket requesting that there be a lock for the toolbars. After several months, it actually happened. However, the same ticket also requested that users be able to disable the popup description when hovering over a skill, but that never happened. And you know what? I never got any recognition or reward for the idea. It was really annoying to click the wrong place accidentally and your toolbars would rotate 90 degrees, and you would die. It was probably the simplest, best update ever in the game. So, you're welcome PWI. Take back the earning time, give back coins for drops, mirages, DQ items, etc. Give us the replacement for the DQ systems like you promised and never delivered. You really ruined the game for those of us who can't or won't spend thousands of dollars on your game.0

I remember when farming was viable to end game if you were a new player.0
