Now we will talk about trash homes.
You know, that homestead is loading not so fast. so, more items in homestead, more time it will be loading.
Big THAHKS to people, who put visitor point near heavinly creation shop. Other guys, who put long away visitor point from heavinly workshop thus force to watch their trashhomes with a lot of grass, will be infinitely watching loading textures in hell. Some people spend a hours to put ugly grass around visitor point, so you need to wait, when this disgusting landscape will be loaded. I dont mind if homestead is realy beatifull, but 90% of homes are made of what they have thus they are all made of many trees, grass, flat ground with pieces of water and gates. These 90% are all similar trashhomes. Some players are awesome, before to buy items from them, you need to find heavinly workshop in their garbagestead.
Please, be kind player, put visitor point near heavinly shop if you are selling items.

:D Ok... I think the OP is overreacting a bit, but at same time I understand his/her frustration.
I always put the visitor's point (or whatever is called) near the heavenly creation shop since I actually want people to enter the house just to help me level it up a bit and get some extra coin to pay the house cleaning, not like my houses are some master piece of art :Dthey are actually fugly they are just ok I guess.... :D

Still if it takes to someone alf hour to load a homestead that mean that the person computer must be some ancient relic from the 90's or something :p

    Meanwhile...

My home has both fields placed on top of each other, and all the houses and workshops piled onto the fields itself so that I never have to walk more than a couple meters to get everything done xD

I want someone to make their entrypoint in some box where visitors are jailed and can only get out by going out of the homestead.
And put rare items up for cheap, so people go in there.
Not sure if that's even possible though

    All these Homestead trolls

There's probably a way to box in people, perhaps pulling up the terrain around a house (?) or putting the entry point under water... actually no, wait please don't do any of that that's horrible D:

Not that no ones done it before, but now people will say "well I mean if a mod said it..." Ack!

I stopped doing that a week after it came out.

Really have not lost anything... Apart from skills Ill get them later.

P.S. you dont have to get the items from that HS find another if for what ever reason you dont like the current chosen one. or go with out. Its the OWNERS choice where to put the start point after all it is the owners Home.

First off, I have to agree some of the homesteads are just....well ugh! But some are rather nice. I hope mine fall in the nice pile! Also I have a new computer but if the homestead it very large or if the area is piled with items it can sometimes take a minute or two to load. I do have to say if the entry point isn't near the shop so I can pop in and out fast I do tend to leave and buy from another shop. I have limited time so don't want to hunt for it. But it is the owners choice if he wants to put it across the map. Just remember you may not sell much if you do that!

I'm kinda hoping that do a contest for the nicest layout of the Homesteads. Would be fun to see.

I don't know if you can do it with the whole "can't place an item on top of another" thing going on. Maybe by raising terrain and then placing something on top to make a ceiling?

Hey, anyone has ever seen a maze-homestead (one where you can't fly above)? Now that would be something to frustrate people with...

There were a lot, but you couldn't make it so that no one would be able to fly over. Even now you'd need ridiculous amount of items to cover the ceiling. And still it may not be possible because entry point shouldn't intersect with anything else. So, the visitor will be able to fly high from where he stands after entering and avoid the maze.

My maze is covered with buildings and other things, but yeah it takes a lot of time cause u get permanent the message that items colide etc. also if the homestead loads very slooooowly u can avoid the buildings cause u just fly faster than it loads :D
but about the entry point putting in a box, shouldnt be possible, it annoyed me quite often while building my maze x:
