Homestead quest not given

My char meets all the requirements for the homestead quest, yet it has never been given to her. I have used the encyclopedia. It gives an NPC as the quest giver. Yes he has no available quests at this time for me either. My husband is having the same issue, so I know it is not just I that this is happening to. I wrote a ticket on it. They suggested I restart my computer, but as that is done every night before I go to bed, I know that is also not the issue. I have purchased almost everything I will need for the homestead and then some. I really want to enjoy that feature of PWI but am perplexed as to what is the matter. Could you please look into why not everyone is getting the quest, even when requirements are met or exceeded? Your time in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    hi, mooneshine from dawnglory--I received 3 homestead quests from vyn yen, the warrior--then nothing-it has been weeks now-i am lvl 105x3, r9/3+12 all-pretty positive I qualify for quests-starting my computer again is not the issue but thank you for the eh-advice.Since I waited for the next update after problem with homestead quests occurred, patience is not my issue either, however, I would appreciate it if your staff would fix this homestead quest problem as soon as possible. thank you

    There ARE many bugs in the Homestead expansion. I LOVE this expansion; but hate that the ticket I submitted about one of them kept getting ignored stating the problems were my computer. They said for me to post here, so I am. LOL Now I'm gettin a message this post is 1542 characters too long! Evidently, according to support, everything that is happening to me and my friends regarding the Homestead is my computers fault.

    Still the same problem after almost 2 months. 'Failed to find homestead'. Was redirected here as well so here it is.

    Same problem no homestead after I've done all the quests for A Homestead "Failed to find Homestead". Directed here to post issue.

    got my homestead finally
    went to Loranthus (Demon) window popped up took quest Tele'd me to White Lotus Residance took the quest from NightBloom to see Vedas whole quest takes less then 5 minutes soon as your done tele's you into Homestead so i hope this helps someone else

    Per Ticket # 160715-002074, I submitted and have had correspondence with a GM, I have sent in multiple screen shots of my quest log as you will be able to see on the ticket I have provided.
    Short recap: Server: Tideswell: Class: Cleric Level RB2 lvl 98 , Celestial Demon, 239k rep. My pc is running Win 8.1 current w/updates, no virus' or any other software or hardware issues.
    I have searched in forums about not having the homestead receiving the "failed to find homestead" error each time i try to get into homestead. Please read the ticket for all of the information unless you prefer that i copy/paste it all here. This is not just on one account, I have this issue on another account as well. I am a returning player after taking a 3 year break. I have enjoyed the few months I have been back and would like to continue to play, however it does seem that since a homestead is needed to aquire some of the new skills, I will not be able to continue to play pwi at its full advantage with out this option. I do hope that this is a bug that can be figured out and fixed.

    Since we seem to have a new influx of CM/GM/Mods, could this possibly be moved to General Discussion. Enough people are having the same problem I think it deserves more sets of eyes.

    My homestead issue has been resolved. I was sent the following links to follow this quest line, which i had already started but did not get the last 3, some place it got messed up. but those of you that are having this homestead issue might want to try this, i just did it and i am successfully in my homestead.

    I finally figured out my problem. The item "Afterglow Wine" needs to be in your inventory when you speak to the NPC during the Mars part of the chain. I had put it in the bank, so the quest did not appear. Silly goose.

    To those who have posted here-has you or the people you know able to finally get into your homestead and/or are getting the required quests? If the fixes commented/provided have not resolved your issue, please feel free to re-bump/repost here and detail exactly where the quests are failing or what part you're stuck on OR if you're not getting the Homestead quests at all. Its a slower day for me at work so I'm spending time combing though the forums so please feel free to sound off and provide as much detail as possible. If you've gotten in successfully and need no help you can disregard this message.

    The homestead is a great idea however quite glitchy, my quests are gone after reaching level 24.

    Limiting us to 1000 objects may be an idea not thought through. I have 10 lands and max'd out in objects, I have no flowers to consume space and cannot add anything else. I would buy more land however at present there is no point.

    My account crashes frequently showing bug reports, which is your error. I get these 2 to 3 times a day. Ever since you started the homestead.

    Frustrating people is a bad idea unless you communicate you're knowledge of them and that you will fix it. I believe you are losing people again due to your extremely poor communication and failure to fix things. Game glitches are close to being severe and the cost to effectively play this game is near the most expensive. Losing people can result in you losing the game. It would be in your best interest to make some attempt to show an effort instead of putting in new menus that help nothing!!
