shortcut to desktop issue

Hi everytime there's an update the shortcut on my desktop reverts and I can't duo, I get a message saying; "last update didn't complete". When in fact it did, and did correctly, so I verified SEVERAL times, and i got the same message still. How can i fix this? what do i need to do so it stops happening? I've even reinstalled the game only to have the same result when there's an update >.<

    Have you tried to delete the shortcut and make a new shortcut?
