illusion crystal and war front crate

Illusion crystal LV you up to LV95 instantly costs 40 golds
War front crate LV you to RB 1 100 (LV100 x2 ) with a set of TT99 gears ( I checked the npc is there) and many more freebies costs 50 golds
10 more golds and you have so much more exp and gears
my question is why so many people still buy illusion crystal? is there a catch that I don't know?

    95% sure illusionary crystal can be stacked with the return buff or an ancient gift - dont know if the crate can

    same for crater , means 900mil exp..... crate is jsut an superior item

    while we are at it, can the peripatetic pill be used on a character above level 60, 70 or 80?or just on a lv1 character? if a char lvl95 takes it,will they surpass lvl100 or not really?
