Ok, first, I wasn't being "Captain Snark". I was simply providing the information that is currently available.

Now for a "Snarky" response....
Since you obviously didn't read the news release either, here is the information available that got information from to say what I said.

PWI Login Event!

We’re holding a special login event that will earn you some really cool prizes! Make sure you participate, one of these items counts for the “Find Your Four Leaf Clover” Event!

Login Event starts:
Thursday, March 3rd@1AM PST
Login Event ends:
Tuesday, March 22nd @11:59PM PST


The more you login to PWI between March 3rd and March 22nd, the better your rewards will be! Here are the requirements and rewards for each Tier:

Tier 1 - Login on at least 3 separate days during the login promotion to receive:

Nebula Dust Orb x 3



Tier 2 - Login on at least 5 separate days during the login promotion to receive:

Profundity Scroll III x 3



Tier 3 - Login on at least 10 separate days during the login promotion to receive:

20 Event Gold



Tier 4 - Login on at least 15 separate days during the login promotion to receive:

War Avatar Pack: A



Tier 5 - Login on at least 20 separate days during the login promotion to receive:

War Avatar Pack: S

*** Please wait up to 2-3 hours after your character has qualified for a tier in order to receive the mails containing your rewards. ***



Requirements:

• You character must be level 60+ in order to receive the rewards. If you hit level 60 during the events, you need to login again to start qualifying.
• You need to exit the game and relog again for the next day to count.
• In order for a specific character to qualify for a tier, you must log into it at least once each day. It doesn’t count if you stayed logged in the game continuously.
• To qualify for a Tier, you are not required to login once a day for 2/3/5/7 consecutive days. This means you can take a few days off in between.

Please note:

• The items will be sent to your mailbox.
• All items are bound.
• You can not put any of the items in your stash.
• The days are separated by UTC time, 12:00AM (midnight) – 12:00AM (midnight next day), except for the first and last days.
• A character that fulfills the highest tier of requirements will receive all the rewards that apply to the tiers below it. Ex: Someone who completes the tier-3 challenge will receive T3, T2, and T1 rewards.
• Login rewards can only be redeemed once per character. A character can only earn 1x T1, 1x T2, and 1x T3 prize.

I'm seeing two events on that page neither of which have the correct name?

I assumed it was similar to the Christmas cape/ring thing and they either left it off the event news post unintentionally or they are just a little slow posting it on it's own.

Really hard to say given the history of the News posts. It could be they are planning on making another post with more information, they got half the information completely wrong, or they only have whatever Wanmei told them (and you know how that goes).

I see both sides of this, for what it's worth this looks like an event all its own, that is requiring a pack item as well, news post just came up, I'll let sylen post the full thing - pack item needed is wishful wing token but you must open it yourself, also login 20 days, win a cross server tw battle, and do a quest only available March 14th. Complete 3 tasks for 20 nebula dusts , complete all 4 for the holiday ring

Yeah.. there was no indication what that clover event is.... contrary to our illustrious mod's beliefs.​​

So the requirement on this event is so high it's laughable. On average $6000 in packs that are otherwise very, very bad value for a ring. The drop rate of the item is only 20% of what it was last time and only a few people actually got that reward.

Having said all that I'm not sure there's anything specifically wrong with the core idea. The hidden orchid implementation wasn't terribly objectionable on paper, although it had implementation bugs and unclear text issues.

It's closer to a charge or spend promo than a real event of course but I doubt it's replacing a real event.

Also yes you have to open packs for the item but that's kinda the only way to do something like this unless the rewards sucks. Otherwise we'd get horrible hoarding and speculation issues.

@thenamesdomino what about the countries that they cant charge gold? Your support center told me that this problem should be fixed but nothing happened for so long time.
