Anyone else getting this error with the patcher?

I keep getting a "connecting to server" "error please try other update server" message when trying to start the game with arc/the launcher.
Any ideas on how i fix this? I tried changing update servers from patch1 to patch2 and selecting/deselecting all options with every try but nothing changes. Help please! I've been trying to get online all day. screen shot below.

    If you're using Windows 8/1/10 be sure to set the compatibility to Run as Administrator. (DO NOT set it to run under another version of Windows.)
    Ensure that the entire client directory is excluded from all AntiVirus software scans, and that the .exe files are allowed through the firewall.

    Also try to trace to the patch servers to ensure you actually can reach them.

    Based on what I'm seeing, there may be an issue in between me and the patch servers. I am not currently able to test it with the client though.​​

    Turn off your PC. Then unplug your modem for at least 3 minutes to fully reset the connection. Then plug your modem back in, wait for it to fully connect, and then turn your PC on.

    I just tested and am able to get the patcher to connect fine.
    Also, if your client is up to date, just run the client without the patcher. Instructions are in my sticky.​​

    I have taken to reinstalling pwi and arc hope this works >.<

    I would like to request an absence note please if possible, due to the fact that none of the solutions have worked and i am still waiting to see if reinstalling will work. >.<

    I am having the same issue here! After the Tuesday 12-22-15 patch update which I installed, on the launcher screen under the start button, after I click it, at the bottom left hand corner it says "Start game fails". Ugh!! I'm loosing precious time playing my favoriate game here, please does anyone have any suggestions or help? Is anyone seeing this on their computer? If so please let me (and PWI) know!! Thanks for everyone who responds and who takes the time to look into this!! <3:'(

    I'm having a similar issue. A friend of mine downloaded and updated PWI today and I copied his files to my notebook. When I start the patcher, it says game version is 829 (actual version is 912) and starts updating. Update has taken +3 hours and still continues. I don't think is an internet speed issue. I'm running PWI and Arc as an Administrator. OS is Windows 10. Do you have any suggestions?
