Two questions.
1. Where did you get the idea that "the admin is open about this"? Also, do you have any idea of what it would cost to add another server?
2. Why is there not an option for, "No, we do not need another server."?

What about 'a pvp server for those that want to PVP, with ability to move characters to it'? Lots of people who were on the PVP servers obviously want to still be on a PVP server, and not be surrounded by 'carebears'. Carebears don't really care so much about the PVP talk, so... It would be a win-win?0

Me too o.o Does it mean there should be 1 huge server containing whole playerbase? Or should there be 1 common server permanently working which players from other servers can come to and leave any moment they want? Or something else?

ALL SERVER MUST BE CROSS-SERVEROpening a whole new server is a bad idea. After all, one of the reasons they merged servers is because of our decreased playerbase (the other being to enable cross-server, probably). It's better to turn one of the existing servers PvP, and allow server transfers. Very few people would go to a new server at this point in time, so they would have to enable server transfers either way.
I would probably vote for Twilight Temple being turned into PvP for two reasons. One, because a PvP server (Lost City) was merged into a PvE one (Sanctuary). Two, because it's one of the two West Coast servers so should Twilight Temple's player base decrease to a point where the server becomes too empty, they can merge it into Etherblade without having the issue of different time zones. The other way around is possible as well.
Yeah, PvP server players would be thrown to a PvE server again, but if the server becomes so empty I would either quit or prefer to be merged into another server, despite the consequences.
This would also solve the problem with the former Harshlands players on Dawnglory. They could transfer back to an US time zone, and back on a PvP server. Not to mention, EU players that still play on US servers could transfer to Dawnglory as well.

everyone to one server as all online games they are now, but that should cause problems with cross server events NW and TW0 -
Save your breath, stop wasting your time, very small chances for a new server be it pvp or pve to happen.
They merged the servers cause we know why and you expect them to open a new one?

I don't really care about PVP, nor have I ever but what I do care about is being told that
"I will have to PVP because your server has been switched to PVP or you have to leave"

But if PVP is "OMG SO IMPORTANT" then I would support a NEW PVP server option with the cross-server feature we have now and then allow players to migrate where they want --- 1 PVP server (Wastelands) and the rest PVE based on time zones.

Change jobs and need a different time zone? Go to another server.
Don't like your reputation?? Go to another server, buy a name change and don't be a jerk.
Tired of PVP and want a break ?? Go to another server and enjoy your vacation til your blood lust comes back.

If they made a new server, i suggest using somewhere from primal world for the name, like "Bamboo Raccon village"
Probably would only be logical to make it the "PvP server". otherwise, what was the point of merging servers just the split off one section again. It's not like there was an issue of over population or something like that.
If they did this, maybe have some way of transitioning accounts to the new server for players who want to go there, but its like a one time offer that you have to opt into. We know they could move accounts to another server, they did it with the merge, and it would probably deter many players having to restart and leave behind old toons they worked alot on and possibly spent alot of money on as well.

People that want to pvp should just turn pk mode on and then leave that button be forever, go away with your stupid arguments about MUH PVP SERVER.

There's a problem with that. In Twilight Temple server, Hoorah allied like 3 or 4 guilds just to take down 1 guild LOL. Now because of them, there is no Pk at all. Many are complaining about it. But who's fault is that really? When you ally with more then 1 guild, what do you think is going to happen? Less pk. I think there should be a poll about Alliances. To limit them by only 1 or get rid of Alliance completely. CT and Vindi, two tier1 factions allied together against Hoorah and a few people from Shinra who later joined Hoorah. Might I add most Shinra people went to Kakumau. Hoorah couldnt go against both Vindi and CT so they made allies but due to the lack of any other tier1 factions like how CT had Vindi, Hoorah went with two tier2 factions. I mean look at knights and how many 2shot people they have, no offence.
Demigods dont really count since they didn't do anything besides one tw. And dont tell me you count one random player from a faction = whole faction ally lmao. Especially with some random people like a certain veno who fights with w/e side she feels like it.
PK died cause CT and Vindi started losing TW and they decided to give up. They went blue name and dont even show up for TW. Well Vindi at least still does.
But hey i wouldnt mind them getting rid of alliance completely. I wish Vindi and CT never allied and Vindi CT and Hoorah just fought each other. But sure believe w/e you want if it makes you feel better.0 -

There is another reason this won't happen and that is the cross server NW.. what the hell will they do the 5th server then? just let them have their own server nw like we used to? the more i think about this idea it just seems terrible...Veno is love. Veno is life.0
