Dawnglory - "could not retrieve character list"

so this started out as an extremely weird disconnect, I could still see people talking but yet I couldn't talk, or move, or use skills or talk to npc's... I couldn't even log off. I had to force log off, and when I logged back on the character selection was empty, I couldn't even click create character so something wasn't loading. after waiting awhile I got a pop up that said "could not retrieve character list" and I cant log into the game at all, is there something wrong?

Looks like Dawnglory is down again. Character could not un-embrace or leave squad so i tried opening a new client and force logging the character only to get the message 'This accouny is already logged in.' Now i can log into the character select screen but there are no toons to choose from... I guess im gonna have to survive without pwi for the rest of the day

Yup completely broken, can't speak in fac chat, world chat etc, can't wisp ppl, can't use any skill .....

.... and it has just disconnected me, can login, but then got the message 'cannot retrieve character list'.

Main map crash again. People can't tele out of instances and guild chat is not working.

I also experienced the exact same thing. Ive tried restarting comp with same results.

Dunno where the other thread disappeared to, but the server is currently borked. First the main map apparently crashed and now no one can log in due to "Cannot retrieve server list" and a lot have since dc'd.

It got merged with another thread in the tech support section. But yes, DawnGlory totally broken.

Whoever the hell is merging this thread to goddamn tech support like an idiot, stop it. It's not something tech support can fix. This needs to be brought to the GM's attention.

It's a technical issue, therefore this is where it belongs. I left a redirect in GD for the people that think that's the only forum there is where things get seen.

They should give us our 3x/2x back again for this ****. Second time in 2 weeks this has happened. Getting a bit ridiculous.

The main map is still crashed. Can only log if you were in an instance.

i get to the character select screen, pick a character and then it kicks me out and says could not log into server. 2 different accounts 2 different computers.

Looks like a double-issue with both the main map being down, and something flaking out with the character database. (The latter is very likely linked to the former.)

Hopefully, we'll have someone from PWE report on this shortly.

It just let me log back in, but it stuck me back in Wraithgate. When I got d/c'd I was at west banker swapping gear over to my barb.

Nah, it got resolved after about 20 minutes.
